Hi
Followed Sue and Noel Radford and family on our tv programmes & see they have a new show on tomorrow (29/12/16).

Something I don't get is child safety in this and other larger families.

I mean I had 3 under 7 and I watch 2.5y old all the time, even when he is in older siblings room as there's bunk beds etc and even dressing up clothes can be dangerous

I know the Radford's have super high bunk beds and they always have around 4 kids under 6y I wonder how they supervise them? Or do you think kids like these and in other larger families are in hospital much more often ?

Wow so much speculation 😂😂 I love how you've came to all sorts of conclusions about the Radfords, yet I make one about your lives and you all need to defend it 👍😂 opinions are one thing but all the speculation about them is another, I am not going to read all your posts (which are all untrue) and not defend them. If you had you're FACTS right then I might not feel the need to defend them.......

Justanormalmummy · 20/01/2017 10:32

Exactly!!! I know nothing about you but I have passed comment on your life......not very nice is it??? #rubbishspeculation!!

SpongebobRoundPants · 20/01/2017 10:33

Oooooh grabs popcorn

PatMullins · 20/01/2017 10:34

I'm sure our sex lives are just fine, as is our contraception Smile

Justanormalmummy · 20/01/2017 10:35

assembletheminions...my point exactly, nobody is perfect, yet some posters were criticising Sues education level when their own isn't so great!!!

SpongebobRoundPants · 20/01/2017 10:35

Justanormalmummy why would you want to go on holiday with 19 kids?!Shock

Soubriquet · 20/01/2017 10:38

Oh god go back to nethuns with your tacky hashtags

They are not responsible parents

Responsible parents don't make their older children care for the youngsters and ignore the children when they are no longer babies

Responsible parents listen to their children when they say they don't want any more brothers or sisters

Responsible parents don't lock their children in their rooms at night

Justanormalmummy · 20/01/2017 10:39

How do you know sue can have contraception? Synthetic hormones do not agree with everyone, she might have the BRCA gene? The Coil might've caused adverse reactions? She might even be on contraception and still fell pregnant, nothing is 100%!! ......I still love the fact you're all telling me (a complete stranger) about your sex lives 👍😂😂 there was me thinking you were all prudes 😂

PatMullins · 20/01/2017 10:41

U ok hun?

Justanormalmummy · 20/01/2017 10:42

#tackyhashtags 😂😂 that's an insult 😂😂
Responsible parents don't make their children look after the younger ones, exactly!!!! THEY DON'T!!!

woesinwonderland · 20/01/2017 10:55

I'd call it a day and go back to being a #yummymummy as you aren't really doing the Radford's any favours. Thanks for joining MN though.

Justanormalmummy · 20/01/2017 10:55

Spongebobroundpants they may have a lot of children but remember most are grown up so it's actually quite fun, we went camping for 10 nights with 20 kids in total! We regularly go down and stay with them over school holidays too and I can't believe how organised and mothering Sue is, she really does put most of us mums to shame! She copes so well 😊

Justanormalmummy · 20/01/2017 10:58

Woesinwonderland would you prefer to just speculate about them? Or did you just not have anything better to write back to me?

woesinwonderland · 20/01/2017 11:01

Sue has informed the nation about these issues on TV/tabloids/Take a Break. She has repeatedly said they do not use contraception. Are you sure you are her great friend? It seems strange that strangers know more about her than you do.

Justanormalmummy · 20/01/2017 11:02

She never disclosed her reasons for not using contraception though...!!

Wishforsnow · 20/01/2017 11:08

Why should we not speculate. That is one of the ideas of rubbish reality TV. I don't think they should be on TV an 18 year old man getting a 13 year old pregnant should not be normalised and is horrific. They both come across as badly educated. An organised house does not make a happy family home so not really relevant.

woesinwonderland · 20/01/2017 11:10

I don't have a problem with the Radford's lifestyle per se. I have a larger than average family myself. I do feel sorry for the kids being plastered over the media though. They clearly said in the last programme that they felt there were too many people in the family already, not enough time, not enough space etc. Yet still the parents are insisting how much they all love the big family and want more siblings. Surely they watch the show and know how their kids feel? I think in this programme C4 clearly pointed out this contrast, which is a first. I felt very embarrassed for them all.

They can have as many kids as they like, claim CB and CTC etc, it really doesn't bother me. I think it is grossly unfair to put your children in the spotlight for financial gain though, especially when you are not taking on board what they are saying.

SpongebobRoundPants · 20/01/2017 11:12

Why😂all😂the😂cry😂laugh😂emojis😂?😂

woesinwonderland · 20/01/2017 11:14

She never disclosed her reasons for not using contraception though...!!

Yes she did. As did Noel in the latest programme.

TheFairyCaravan · 20/01/2017 11:15

I think someone has deliberately come to cause a bunfight so yet another thread about the Radfords gets deleted.

Sue and Noel put themselves and their children in the public eye. That opened their parenting, lifestyle, family life, everything up to opinion, good and bad. If they don't like that stop taking the pay cheques and bugger off back to obscurity, but they won't.

They are irresponsible, they are not role models and they should not be celebrated.

Justanormalmummy · 20/01/2017 11:23

You are all entitled to factual opinions but there's a lot of untrue speculation going on in this thread, I'm not going to go in to detail about the Radfords personal lives, it's not my call! However, the speculation couldn't be further from the truth!
Spongebobroundpants because I find all your speculations hilarious 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 you all need to lighten up a little and start enjoying life, there's more to life than mumsnet!!

Wishforsnow · 20/01/2017 12:12

And there is more to life than putting your children and strange lifestyle on TV for your own financial gain then not being able to accept why people view it negatively or having an opinion.

Msqueen33 · 20/01/2017 12:23

Speaking of speculation Justanormalmummy surely you're speculating that she's amazing because you're not with her all the time. Everyone has the ability to present a front. You're obviously a loyal friend which is admirable.

Justanormalmummy · 20/01/2017 12:28

It's not about the negatives comments, it's about the speculation. Posters calling Sue stupid, calling Noel controlling, saying the older kids look after the younger ones and that Noel has to come home from work to sort the kids for school. All of which is untrue. So I am merely on her stating my FACTS! I am allowed to disagree with other people's opinions!!

woesinwonderland · 20/01/2017 12:33

Take your issues up with channel 4 then, because these "speculations" as you are insisting to call them were all shown on the programme. No one is pulling these things out of thin air. Have you not watched the shows?
