I absolutely love this. I think it's been renewed for 5 seasons, so I really hope that ch4 keep it. They could do with putting it on More 4 with The Good Fight.

Just watched Episode 17

Had to have a little weep at this one too.

I agree gincamelback i find Toby bloody annoying. Needy.

Am keen to see what happened to Jack- and how Kate thinks it was her fault. Well, not keen- but I suppose it will tie up some of the loose ends.

I'm so confused. The ending seemed to fall flat. I didn't sob as I hoped I would and we never found out how Jack died.

I don't get it at all - I'd read the final episode was a real tear jerker but didn't make me cry in the slightest.

Last weeks was a complete sobfest, so this didn't seem like a series finale at all.

How does Jack die?? Confused

After a mammoth 18 episode -over a third of a year of commitment - I need some sort of resolution and answers, not more questions. I've loved every minute if this, until the last one. At 11.20 , I was checking to see if it was a 90 minute special as it didn't seem to be going anywhere.

Yup, sat down with box of tissues expecting to see how Jack died (having sobbed myself silly over William!) And.....nothing! Feels unfinished

Couldn't believe how Kate could just let him leave, looking all broken and small with his bag packed after he'd made that speech about how much he loves her Sad

No I meant Chrissy Metz not Mandy Moore I KNOW Mandy Moore.

In the last episode Kate says career she wants to do is singing so I thought is she a singer? Googled and there's videos titled 'wow Chrissy Metz singing' as if she is amazing - she's really not she wouldn't get through first rounds of X factor/bgt.

I expected more from this episode. Although it did tie up all the loose threads. all three 'children' made important decisions.

Wish we had found out what happened to Jack though.

Gah yes sorry Graphista you said Kate didn't you... Her character sang in a care home on one of the early episodes and I remember thinking she really could sing.

I'm sad they separated. I was hoping their love story would keep going, and he'd died rather than leave :-(

Just caught up with the last episode tonight. It was good, as they all have been, but I was expecting to find out how Jack died!

I really reeeeeally hope they don't stretch the story out over too many series (producers of Lost, I'm looking at you).

Kept expecting Jack to die:

First on the way to the club, crashed because of driving while drunk, but he didn't.

Then I expected his drunk driving death to occur he same with his rushing out from the club. Except he didn't rush off.

Then expected her to crash as they argued on the way him, but they didn't.

The was thinking he'd leave, get in the car and crash after the argument.

Then was wondering if he'd die during the night.

Waiting for his death as EXHAUSTING!!
