Anyone else watching this madness?!

Not sure about the divorce process. .. presumably they do have to go through it in the usual way!

So more time and effort could be spent by the participants getting divorced than they put into getting married. Mad

last year someone mentioned on here that it makes a bit of a mockery of marriage and I do tend to agree ( although it hasn't stopped me watching!) I wonder if channel 4 pay for the divorce? I seem to remember last years couples were given somewhere to live , so I suppose the divorce would just be a formality really as no children, property, to divide up/ sort out and it wouldn't be that complicated. Still shocked that a member of the clergy think this is a good idea too!

It may not be complicated as divorces go, but it's still got to be a pain in the arse going through it.

I did goggle last night to see if I could find anything on the couples divorcing, but all that came up was it's not a successful formula! I think it was in Australia, one of the previous contesrants said that everybody had seperated and had moved on with new partners within a couple of months, some before the programme had finished.

I was also surprised to see a vicar, I'm not sure how that bit works either. When we got married, we had to both attend an interview with the vicars in our parishes. Not sure if thats normal or because we lived abroad, but coming to uk to get married.

The registrars comments afterwards also made me something along the lines of the look he gave her isn't seen very often and so they should be happy.

Alex and Zoe from the first Australian series are still together and expecting a baby imminently. Two of the couples from the first American series are also still together so it does work out sometimes despite the unconventional start.

did anyone else fall in love with her dad? he just exuded a cheeky, youthful charm. and genuinely seemed just so happy and proud of his daughter.

Clarke and Melissa were the only couple featured last week... I preferred that format, I'm finding it confusing watching 2 couples tonight. They're all so similar

I half thought about applying to go on the series but was nervous about being on TV!

I sometimes travel on South West Trains down to Bournemouth so I'm wondering if I'll see Adam who's the train manager one day.

I'm watching, my first time watching and I'm surprised how much I'm enjoying it! I think the David Cameron lookalike and his new wife seem lovely, I hope it works out for them!

Before you have a civil marriage you have to go see the registrar and get asked 20 questions to check it's not a sham. How do they get round that bit? Same question re don't tell the bride because you have to tell them when and where you're getting married.
