The dance off is filmed about an hour after the main show on the Saturday night so it's not like she had any time to recover

I imagine she's been in a hospital most of today being thoroughly checked over.

It was all filmed last night though.

Soup i imagine PP meant that she did the show, the results show and then went to hospital today.

Oh yeah. Jordons wife was in the paper this week harping on about celebs not dressing to the left or right or something. It was pretty grim.

Somehow this works as the entire opposite of an aphrodisiac

I don't think it's so much that he is the 'face' of Anne Summers, it's more that Ola is the 'body' of Anne Summers and James is a barely tolerated tag-along.

Ola Jordan has tweeted about the result. She feels that it's unfair that M left having had no opportunity to dance again. This controversy is all over Twitter.

Some of the comments about Anastacia on Twitter are really nasty.

It's for their couple's range apparently, so I suppose it's nice that they're an actual married couple? I agree that Ola was probably the one they wanted though. He looks like he's fallen asleep on the picture on the left.

Maud, it isn't really something you ever think about, until you dance with somebody and can feel it...

It's like men very occasionally get a bit, umm, excited - not something that you'd ever talk about or think was a potential issue but a bit embarrassing for all concerned!

Has anyone heard of that rule before? I was expecting that she wouldn't dance as she looked horrified at the thought of dancing again, but I assumed that would mean that Melvin would get a walk-over, because that's what happens in most sport. I think they made the rule up on the spot because they didn't want the biggest name going out in the first week.

Usually an injury gets a bye for a week, but I'm not sure it's ever happened that somebody becomes unfit between the two before.

I think it would probably have created less fuss all round if she hadn't danced on Saturday at all, they she would have got a let through to the next week and the dance off would have been between Melvin and someone else (almost certainly Ed).

Anthony had to dance didn't he?

I remember Natalie Gumede getting a week off through illness though.

So sorry haven't caught up with thread but have to crash in to say - if that's recorded 'live', what happened to the five minutes or so the dance-off, comments and judges' decision would have taken?
Surely there should have been a loooong time to fill before the closing credits?
So how did tbey know they had to spin the time out?

Anthony came in with an injury though and all his routines were choreographed with it in mind, it didn't unexpectedly get much worse while rehearsing.
