I hope there will be an Olympian or two. I always enjoy watching the athletes on Strictly, you can never tell at the beginning which ones are going to remain stiff and wooden and which ones will suddenly 'get' it and be great dancers.

Katie Durham was the poshest contestant to date so maybe Will can take over. Oh i hope it is her she is hilarious in eastenders.

Thing is re: Will Young I think he's been in musicals and might have had some dance training. But I think after all these series we have to just accept that there are going to be some people on there with more experience than others. And I'm not sure how many of the previous winners have actually been contestants with substantial dance experience - I think most often it is the one who's been on a "journey" that wins. If Will is clever (like Jay) he'll hide his dance training, pretend to be embarrassed and then suddenly surprise everyone. And as Monkseal pointed out, he'll (hopefully) be the first gay celebrity to not have been included as the joke contestant.

Monkseal is doing a poll on his blog on all the pro dancers (apparently Neil Jones with be the 50th pro on SCD!) I was amazed at how many names I'd already forgotten and had to Google.

There isn't anyone recently who has left EE that I can imagine in SCD. Fat Boy is already on CBB. Pretty sure Paul is signed up for a few upcoming movies. I'm not sure Andy who just left is a big enough name. I am increasingly convinced that either Grimshaw or Kylie from Corrie will be on.

I wonder whether they'll wait until the series has ended to announce who is replacing Len?

Not convinced will young is going to be much good even with dance training. I saw him doing 'Wilkommen' from Cabaret at an awards show and he moved like he had 3 left feet.
Ed Balls is physically pretty fit I think, he's done a few marathons but dancing? Could be the comedy performance this year!

I like Ed Balls! I'm glad he's in it. What a shame strictly isn't in April and then it court cover Ed Balls day! I miss that!
