Although I'm old enough to remember it first time round, I've just ploughed my way through all five series on sky box sets. I'd forgotten how good it was, I'm looking forward to watching the new series when it starts again in the autumn.

User I have a similar mole on my chin. All my life I've been picked on because of it. But you know what? I couldn't give a red raw blistering fuck. Once I caught a customer staring at it and went "RAARGHH!" at him suddenly. Was so much fun.

I'm liking this so far, and it does feel like the same show as before.

Do you think it is being set up so that eventually David and Karen will get back together again? I suppose that would be satisfying in a way, especially for their kids, and his new wife doesn't seem very nice at all. I always liked David and found him amusing, even though he was a bit of a pompous stuffed shirt. But does anyone remember how Karen always appeared to be annoyed with him in the old series? With good reason often, but she was always irritably exclaiming 'Oh David!' in tones of absolute disgust. So I find it hard to imagine she would really want him back.

Still maybe the irritability is just part of Hermione thing's acting style, think I have seen her do it while playing other parts.

Oh, I didn't see his daughter. Just Jen in the living room. But then I thought it was weird that Harry's son didn't acknowledge Pete as his bil when they saw him in the car.

Also, I haven't noticed anything on Jen's chin. Glad she didn't take that kiss with that guy any further.

The daughter of James Bolam (Harry) was played by the woman who was/is Callum's mother in Coronation Street. It definitely wasn't Jen in the room.

Is the father of Jen's daughter the man with dark hair (actor Ben somebody I think, who was also in Coupling)? Can't remember anything else about him. I also can't remember Richard Armitage or Sean Pertwee being in it! Confused

Richard Armitage played a swimming instructor who got engaged to Ramona. He then had an affair with Pete's second wife Jo. I think Sean Pertwee' s character became close to Karen when her marriage was breaking up, but she decided that she didn't want to be with him..

Adam wasn't the type to dump his motherless child in a boarding school like some colonial aristo. That didn't ring true for me.

Hermione Norris is just gorgeous. She's past childbearing age but imagine her and Art's children lol.

Loved the neglected old man and thoughtful Pete. And John T's portrayal of Pete's depression was compelling.

Robert Bathurst as brilliant as ever. The snippy wife is excellent too.

Also, the boy said that he hurt him deliberately.

I always liked David & was disappointed when Robyn showed up to dinner in the last ep of series 5.

But now-asking Karen to take the points-and she agreed, taking Karen to the football & not telling Robyn-he's not nice, is he?
