Although I'm old enough to remember it first time round, I've just ploughed my way through all five series on sky box sets. I'd forgotten how good it was, I'm looking forward to watching the new series when it starts again in the autumn.

Just on episode 2 now, bloody brilliant!

I don't have Sky, that's why I was looking for it on ITV, they keep saying it's on there but I can't find it.

Adam and Rachel had a baby called Matthew. They were going to adopt a girl but Rachel found out she was pregnant and so it couldn't go ahead.

The scene where Rachel imagines Adam in the video with the girl makes me cry. Also when he meets Laura and he tells her how amazing Rachel is and then takes her downstairs to meet her.

I remember those scenes Snaza but couldn't remember whether the adoption had gone ahead. I do remember Matthew being born & the scene when they named him.

I am SO excited about Cold Feet returning! I have all the box sets on DVD and have rewatched them over the years. It really came out at a perfect time for the stage of life DH and I were in at the time. I remember watching it in a 5* hotel the night after our wedding, before jetting out to our honeymoon because we were too knackered to go out! Karen was my fave right up until they gave her a mid life crisis and turned her into a bit of a prick.

And the guaranteed make me cry scene is the one where Matthew crawls for the first time and Dead Rachel says, "Oooh, I would have loved to have seen that".

I've not read the full thread as it's been so long since I've seen this I can't remember the story lines! I'm on series 2 so far...

Things I've learned from Cold Feet-

• The mobile phones were enormous
• James Nesbit has improved with age
• Faye Ripley and James Nesbit's first kiss was really hot!
• The earrings and shoulder pads back then were far too big! *Helen Baxendale is a wooden actress in whatever she's in!
• Hermione Norris is a cracking actress and looks fabulous in a swimsuit.
• EVERYBODY smoked back then.
• Babies slept in different rooms to their parents even when they were really little and they were fed mush ,no baby led weaning then
• Kitchens in general have improved no end since then, I remember thinking at the time that Karen's kitchen was the highest tech thing I'd ever seen in my life!

Adam and Pete wore some dodgy lime green and orange work shirts, that were quite trendy at the time.

Yes, I remember my dad wearing similar and a mac with padded shoulders all very Johnathan Ross!

Hopefully Fay Ripley has improved her crap Manc accent.

She was the only one who I found completely unbelievably- her accent was awful, hated it the first time and even worse the second time around!

I found it, I've only managed to see a couple, but enjoying it!

I've recently watched all the old ones and really enjoyed it. I didn't see it as very dated Flowers, but then I only got a smart phone this year so I suppose I'm behind the times.

Aww I remember having the box set 1-4 on video(?!) and my boyfriend (now dp) would come round and watch it with me when I lived with my parents. He then bought me the dvd of series 5. I'm looking forward to it coming back but slightly worried it won't be good and therefore spoil it for me.

Omg I hated Fay Ripley voice it spoilt the show fif me. Ph it really was irritating. That's why I stopped watching it.

And despite being teeny weeny somehow the stylists managed to make her look like a man in drag. There was something very wrong with her shoes/ boots throughout all of the episodes!

I was a bit too young for it first time around but have just binged watched it over the last week, watched the final episode yesterday! Absolutely loved it, I did have a chuckle at the dated fashion and technology though.

Karen and David were by far my favourite characters, I was gutted how their marriage ended! David was so unintentionally funny.

I hope the come back show is just as good, I'll be tuning in anyway. I wonder if Ramona will make an appearance, probably not as the children will be teenagers and the actress is joining Hollyoaks, shame, I loved her and David's relationship.
