Finally caught up, I was away at the weekend and had to wait until tonight to watch it - can you imagine?
I think it was maybe my favorite episode this series. I realise now that knowing what was was coming, i.e. Jamie sending her away made me more prepared for it mentally. (Still cried though, obviously). Which is kind of funny since I haven't stopped moaning about the bit at the start being a spoiler. I guess it actually works quite well.
I found the flitting between the past and present really interesting. Also the whole Geillis thing, I suspected she might show up since she said she came from 1968. I actually thought somehow she was going to find out through Brianna about Claire's story and that would be the thing that would make her go and try out the stones, leaving Claire feeling guilty for putting the idea in her head that would lead to her death.
I cried over Dougal. I was begging that to somehow end differently.
Roger Rankin is still hot even in dodgy knitwear, tweed and with an ugly side parting. It's the eyes.
I'm also now torn about reading the books for a fix but not wanting to spoil future series. I struggled a bit with the first one so might skim read each book as the series ends.
