Ok, like our sister thread for those who have read the books, this is for discussion of Outlander Series 2 but for those who have not read the books and/or don't want any spoilers.

So, for all you non-spoilery, non-book folk, what do you make of Brianna? And the (very lovely) Roger?

Well, not sure why but I was a bit miffed about Brianna being there......I think it's because Clare is such a strong female lead that I felt a bit weird her having a grown up daughter and some of the emphasis taken away from Clare Grin.

However, come the end, I liked her more.
I like Roger.
After the ending, I'm very much looking forward to the next season!!

I'm a wreck....cried so much, still going actually.
Loved it.....perfect.
Bri wasn't as bad as I was expecting.
Now popping over to the other thread.

It was lovely, wish that it had been longer! Jamie's muddy knees at the stones

I feel all panicky knowing the season has ended....when is it back?? When???? I'm desperately torn between reading the books to maintain my hit and waiting to enjoy it on screen. Oh first world problems!

I thought it (episode 13) was really good, every bit as good as I found the first season to be. I'm full of questions now. Looking forward to season three...

Hello Middleoferoad
I'm very jealous that you've got so much left to watch. And you're only on EP 4. The best is yet to come!
Happy watching.

Finally caught up, I was away at the weekend and had to wait until tonight to watch it - can you imagine?

I think it was maybe my favorite episode this series. I realise now that knowing what was was coming, i.e. Jamie sending her away made me more prepared for it mentally. (Still cried though, obviously). Which is kind of funny since I haven't stopped moaning about the bit at the start being a spoiler. I guess it actually works quite well.

I found the flitting between the past and present really interesting. Also the whole Geillis thing, I suspected she might show up since she said she came from 1968. I actually thought somehow she was going to find out through Brianna about Claire's story and that would be the thing that would make her go and try out the stones, leaving Claire feeling guilty for putting the idea in her head that would lead to her death.

I cried over Dougal. I was begging that to somehow end differently. Sad

Roger Rankin is still hot even in dodgy knitwear, tweed and with an ugly side parting. It's the eyes.

I'm also now torn about reading the books for a fix but not wanting to spoil future series. I struggled a bit with the first one so might skim read each book as the series ends.

I might have to come to the other thread, I'm feeling bereft and not having anyone to obsess with isn't helping.

Just watched the finale! Definitely the best episode of the season. The back and forth in time worked really well I think. Very sad when they had to say goodbye to Fergus.
