Ok, like our sister thread for those who have read the books, this is for discussion of Outlander Series 2 but for those who have not read the books and/or don't want any spoilers.

How many more episodes?

Drywhitethanks · 12/06/2016 20:06

And I'm sure we all agree that Jamie's hair looks spectacular in this windswept episode

hudyerwheesht · 12/06/2016 20:12

drywhite I was thinking the last few episodes how much more like season 1 Jamie he has been looking(thank god) in fact when the recap bit at the start shows Paris Jamie I'm taken aback a bit by how different he looks.

OP posts:
snozzlemaid · 12/06/2016 20:15

I agree, very different. It's almost like he's a different person competely. I've sort of forgotten about Paris now they're back in Scotland.

hudyerwheesht · 12/06/2016 20:21

Isn't there only 2 more episodes?

OP posts:
snozzlemaid · 12/06/2016 20:24

I think there's 3 more. And the last one is 90 minutes.

AKAmyself · 12/06/2016 21:37

I got some serious DOugal hots in this episode :)

Jamie looks wonderful, and so does Claire. it's all very, very sad though :(

AKAmyself · 12/06/2016 21:48

this is from last week's episode and may have already been posted but it is SO RIGHT!!!

Roobix04 · 12/06/2016 23:27

Does anyone else think they've told Sam Heughan to put one leg on something at every available opportunity? Not that I'm complaining mind Grin

snozzlemaid · 13/06/2016 07:44

Yes! Theres always a log or something just lying about for him to put his foot up on. They must know what his knees do to us Grin

Jane054848 · 13/06/2016 12:29

We could have a knee sweepstake too. They are definitely onto us about the knees. Maybe it's to stop us whinging so much about the lack of sex.

Sam was criminally hot in this episode. Totally agree about the flashbacks to Paris.

Without being too spoilery (I hope)I think the next 2 series will feature hot Scot Jamie clothes and hair, no nonsense about smart clean-shaven primpy Jamie.

hudyerwheesht · 13/06/2016 12:39

There were only 2 knee shots to my count this episode - woefully short given that we had double that in mark me's - but they seemed unnatural poses, iyswim.

I agree with the above - I think that they've told him to show off at least one knee per episode to make up for the lack of sex scenes.

OP posts:
Roobix04 · 13/06/2016 12:41

Yeah it wasn't that there was lots off knee shots more that they seemed a little forced. Maybe we should also start a shirtless campaign Wink

Drywhitethanks · 13/06/2016 13:01

Grinat Jamie putting knee up at any opportunity...if noticed that too!

gingerboy1912 · 13/06/2016 19:30

Just watched episode 4 and I have two things to say. Has Jamie always had such a prominent vein on his forehead? And how much is Claire drinking in this pregnancy Hmm

Roobix04 · 13/06/2016 19:45
  1. Paris Jamie is weird looking. 2. Wine is probably safer than the water.
TheHiphopopotamus · 13/06/2016 20:31

Has Jamie always had such a prominent vein on his forehead

As I recall, SH's forehead and early season hairstyle was discussed in depth on the Outlander S2 thread and the conclusion was, he needs a fringe Grin

I'm ecstatic to report that his hair improves as the series goes on and by Episode 10, he's back to his gorgeous, sexy, rough and ready, kilt-attired, knee flashing self.

As for the wine, as roobix said, it was safer than the water which would have been filthy, I'd imagine.

Drywhitethanks · 13/06/2016 20:45

I've just had a very self indulgent evening.

Watched Prestonpans for the 3rd time, it really is that good.
Then the Bois de Boulogne duel scene.
Then Faith.......and cried again......darn.
Am pleased to report that watching a few in a row has made it much better because theŶ actually grow closer and are back to normal almost

gingerboy1912 · 13/06/2016 22:16
