Apparently Derick has been going crazy on twitter implying Jimbob got all the money and they got none. Also around the silence Around Sams birth and 2 week stay in hospital.

I want to go to Switzerland now!

I thought I read that Derick was no longer allowed on counting on because of comments he’d made about Jazz Jennings who of course has their own show also on TLC.

Spent all yesterday catching up on this - why do I find their lives so fascinating? I wonder perhaps if I find something perversely escapist about a life where it is all sorted for you - marry, have babies, look after them, and have such complete faith in God to figure it all out. Seems so simple. I know I would never want a life with so few choices, where women are completely subservient, but I do enjoy stepping into their world a little bit.

I had a little tear in my eye watching Joe and Kendras wedding. Kendra seems so sweet and her dad too!

I had a few tears too over the wedding. Her dad was just so fab conducting the ceremony then the singer singing Butterfly Kisses. It was the song I had played before I walked down the aisle.

Oh I definitely cried! But I cry easily at anything happy, and always weddings, so I’m not a great test. Kendra does seem very sweet and adorable, very young to be getting married and having children. It did make me wonder how any of them are prepared for a physical relationship, I wonder if their already married friends tell them much about what to expect.

So has the latest series finished? I watched Joe & Kendra’s wedding (her Dad’s speech was v weird I thought), but haven’t seen anything since.

Does anybody else wonder how is it that all the girls are so pretty?? And the ones that marry in to the family too. I'm sure there's a very small "pool" of suitable/approved candidates!

I think their lifestyle and beliefs mean they look after themselves for their husbands. They are quite disciplined and disapprove of gluttony smoking drinking etc. Most of the duggars are good looking. But I don't think Kendra is pretty, she seems like a lovely bubbly person but average looking imo
