I feel so, so sorry for Anna Duggar - not only has her husband been exposed as having sexually assaulted his sisters, he's cheated on her - and as a result, she has had to move back to his parents' house. So she has had to go from being a woman with her own home, running her own life (at least to some extent, within the 'rules' of the church), to basically being a child in her IL's home. And she can't divorce her husband or even deny him sex. Urghhhhhhh.

Oh I know, poor Anna, you can see it on her face as well, she tries so hard to be happy but you can tell deep down she's devastated.

So is Anna still back in the duggars main house?

sweetpea I'm also extremely a bit overinvested in their lives too. I have read all of their books and thought they were a lovely family but since the airing of the show and all of the scandals I can see it was/is all a facade. Feel so sorry for Anna

That's interesting about Derick and TLC. I had noticed that they hadn't sent film crews to "Central America" and they were filming their own footage. I bet his mum is so proud, he seemed fairly normal. I hoped he'd even let his kid go to college.

I think being part of the Duggar clan has gone to Derick’s head a bit and given him the confidence to speak out with his ridiculous views. Im assuming Jill has money because she’s been in the show from the beginning and that will take the heat off of Derick having to get a real job.

I've noticed how the duggar/fundie marriages don't include a wedding reception, because dancing is evil. It's almost like their wedding rehearsal is their reception dinner because they literally get married, run down the aisle, cut the cake and leave so they can have sex immediately. Joy even had all her wedding photos taken before they got married and change out of her dress so they could leave no honeymoon. Surely after waiting all that time I fundie wants to enjoy taking off the dress? Maybe it takes too long so leave the venue with your sisters already helping you out of it.
Joy also said she had to say good bye to her sobbing sister before she got married as she wouldn't have time I really see her afterwards. Because you know, the sex.

They do have receptions, Jill had one in the church car park They are usually of the "punch and cupcake" variety, although IIRC Josh and Anna had a food reception, where the guests had to bring a dish. Joy was soooo keen to get away after her ceremony!

Something has definitely gone to Derick's head since jumping on the Duggar gravy train. I think everyone had high hopes for Jill when she was courting him as he was university educated.
