Anyone see Shetland tonight? New drama series on BBC1?

I liked it! Nice to see the scenery, plus Scottish accents on a BEeb programme.

I'd imagine the Beeb itself will be flogging it.

I do like Perez's somewhat impassive emotionality () but I keep imagining a blissful life with Roadkill.

Character's name is Lowrie I think? Actor, according to IMDB, is Jamie Michie.

Well, I'm assuming his character is called Lowrie, otherwise I'm totally wrong too!

It says he's in 6 episodes, but that can't be right.

Yes, he wrote 'from Lowrie' on the label on the whisky bottle that he gave to Tosh (along with the drawing).

Yes SealSong, well spotted re the label on the bottle. I wondered if he had drawn Tosh at the airport when she was drinking with that guy and so would be able to draw a photo-quality picture of the guy. But then I realised that the chances of his ever leaving Shetland were virtually non-existent

Ooh good thought re him being at the airport, but yes, unlikely.

I'm wondering if he may appear with sketches of the killer? Tosh might see them if she returns to his house (and I think she will).
