I haven't seen the second episode, so will have to watch on catch up. I have so much to catch up with, a combination of dd2 being off school and family to stay - I haven't managed to watch anything!

Fab! Really good. More so than the last series though probably that's down to my multitasking and not reading enough of the subtitles so until I'm fluent in Swedish/Danish, missed a lot!

I got the distinct feeling that the new detective is suffering from PTSD and that his wife and children have either died - probably it will be due to post birth psychosis, or she left him and took the children to live somewhere else, but certainly I think he lives alone. I started to think this when he was talking to his wife after he had asked Saga out to the restaurant he said he cancelled. Then I remembered when he woke up the wife's side of the bed looked like it had not been slept in - way too tidy. He is creepy though.

Oooh Elendon I didn't think of that! That makes total sense. I bet they're dead.

Noah I didn't know if the person who took Hans at the end of episode 2 (made him pass out with chloroform I guess?) is the killer at large or if it's a red herring and really is the guy who stole the money/wife/kids from the guy who got out of prison (and kidnapped Hans initially). DH thinks he might have some beef with Hans over the whole grassing up his mates thing...or something. I'm confusing myself!

Oh Elendon that's a good theory about the new detective - I was trying to work out what was going on, but that makes a lot of sense. There's definitely a complex back story that's going to come out in dribs and drabs.

I miss Martin's cheeky dimpled grin, I thought he had something about him. Although never quite got his bleached look!

I hope Hans is ok, he's kind of Saga's father figure.

Elendon interesting theory, a bit like River! The wife does not really say anything, so seems not really there. Something very strange there.

I'm confused about Hans, where is he that the police couldn't find him? Reminiscent of the first series and looking for August.

I think he is the cleaner and not her son. However, I'm very suspicious of the husband, don't know why; she's a thoroughly unlikeable character too - they both suit each other.

I'm thinking this is all about relationships and how within relationships people often either misjudge their partner/friend/relative or they conspire with them, despite misgivings, to stay within the relationship, or maybe they are simply just suited to each other - i.e. Hans and his partner/wife.

I think the ASD is spot on. Often girls/women are overlooked when it comes to diagnosis because it's thought of as a gender thing, i.e. male brain.

I like the dead wife theory. I wondered if the wife is dying and he is trying to find a replacement for her with her blessing, but then he said something (I can’t remember what now though) that made that not fit. There is definitely something odd though, and yes he was very keen to get put on the investigation wasn’t he.
