So the disgusting people

The language you are using is certainly disgusting Hmm

Kittyfrickle · 09/11/2015 23:25

I'd suggest you come and visit my town and see for yourself but I wouldn't waste your time. It is renowned for binge drinkers and legal high takers. I honestly can't wait until I move out of it because I wouldn't raise my child here if someone paid me to

You saved 50 quid a month for 5 years to become a single mother who leaves a secure tenancy for an insecure one?

That's forward thinking.

Why don't you stay where you are and bang an exchange in instead?

Shutthatdoor · 09/11/2015 23:27

So you have saved £3,000 are unemployed going into a private rent and having a baby yet don't think you will need to claim.

How long do you think that money will last exactly?

Why do you think your town is so renowned for this?

gamerchick · 09/11/2015 23:29

Seriously OP, why are you giving up a secure tenancy if you're having a baby alone? Please rethink.

Kittyfrickle · 09/11/2015 23:29

I'll be going back to work when my maternity leave ends, I was made to leave work because it was unsuitable for a pregnant woman so I'll be returning once my leave is up

But you don't earn a lot, you're going to have to claim benefits. Don't add housing issues to the mix as well.

Kittyfrickle · 09/11/2015 23:31

m.ilkestonadvertiser.co.uk/news/local/legal-high-warning-deadly-substance-is-in-circulation-in-derbyshire-police-reveal-1-7235781#axzz3r2XDYzFv

That local article states that my town is 'well-known' for the legal high problem and there are many similar articles from different local places. It really is that bad, I'm surprised Channel 5 hasn't churned out a show based here

Nottodaythankyouorever · 09/11/2015 23:32

So I repeat are you going to be receiving CB or tax credits?

Kittyfrickle · 09/11/2015 23:32

It's the same rent a month in the 3 bed house and will cut out the hassle of my child having to share a room with me until she's 2 because of the council waiting list. I don't see the point in paying the same amount for much less

OP posts:
gamerchick · 09/11/2015 23:32

Every town has a legal high problem, the whole legal high thing is a problem infecting everywhere.

gamerchick · 09/11/2015 23:34

Except you've lost the secure tenancy. That shit is gold man ffs. You won't have that where you're going. Your landlord can give you your marching orders whenever.

Kittyfrickle · 09/11/2015 23:34

Do you get CB and CTC if you work?

OP posts:
ouryve · 09/11/2015 23:35

I thought you were in Yorkshire?

You're about as much in Yorkshire as I am.

Kittyfrickle · 09/11/2015 23:35

I'm on an introductory tenancy so I don't think it's secure?

OP posts:
Kittyfrickle · 09/11/2015 23:36

I'm a 10 minute drive from Sheffield, I'm as close to Yorkshire as you can get without being in it

OP posts:
gamerchick · 09/11/2015 23:37

Can you back out?

Kittyfrickle · 09/11/2015 23:44

Yeah just given 4 weeks notice to end it and then moving into my new property. I would have had to have been here a year before it was a secure tenancy I think

OP posts:
Theodolia · 09/11/2015 23:47

Utterly full of shit

gamerchick · 09/11/2015 23:49

Then back out.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 10/11/2015 00:13

Benefits Beer Grin

Channel 5 farts these programs out weekly

Is the Op saying it costs the same to privately rent a 3 bed house than a 1 bed council flat?? I would have thought it was the other way around.

Shutthatdoor · 10/11/2015 05:35

Do you get CB and CTC if you work?

Errrrr yes!

StrawberryTeaLeaf · 10/11/2015 05:53

Bloody Nora, it's like the Daily Mail comments page.

Or the other place Hmm
