I saw the programme advertised and thought who the fuck would be thick enough to be taken in by such a vile programme...and now I know.

I also saw the thread in Active. I thought it might be discussing the depressing nature of the programme. But no, sadly not.

I always wonder what rubbish c5 must peddle to vulnerable people to get them to appear on these sorts of shows.

It has been documented budda, that the producers/filming team buy them food, takeaways, beer/alcohol etc
I imagine they paid for the girls taxi back from shopping too. Not everyone who watched the program tonight was taken in by it....

Fucking hell have I wondered over to the Daily Fails comments section? Some of the comments on here are just fucking stupid.

But I guess the program is doing what is says on the tin, and is whipping people who haven't got two brain cells to rub together to crank out a critical thought into a frenzy.

There is alot of word misuse on this thread. I was looking on freecycle earlier and there was a free bag of incandescent light bulbs. I giggled and wondered what they could be angry about and then remembered it has another meaning

Benefits should be for those who are in desperate need and have a genuine reason not to be able to earn their own money. Even now I am recently unemployed I refuse to claim anything because I don't believe I need to (I have savings to just about last me until I get my maternity leave). My (ex)friend bragged about how her benefits have bought her the new iPhone today on FB, just thought you guys would like to know where some of your hard earned money goes

It's funny I only ever read about bragging on benefits on here.. All the people I know IRL find life tough
