In that interview the writer was talking as if there are another few seasons left in it. I don't know how that will work

Yes I've been thinking of watching the first series again too. But I'm not sure that I can cope with that either.

Just started watching tonight's - not going to see Alison's perspective on the sex scene by the tree.

Poor Helen - putting up with Noah & supporting him for all those years & then Alison is the one who ends up with the version of him that actually is successful! FUCKER!!

Helen is so much better off without this version of Noah, I really loathe him now. What also pissed me off is when she said she was happy to have two kids but he pushed for four. Then has an affair and leaves! Dick face.

I'm halfway through episode 7 right now so just watched the Thanksgiving table scene - interesting when they're arguing over their differing recollections!

I guess I'm very mean, but I enjoy seeing Noah & Alison fight & hope he cheats on her too.

All sorts of developments tonight, I thought it was mostly great (apart from shithead Noah and his usual me me me)

So who was that at the end with Alison?
I don't think it was Cole, was it Scotty?
Presumably that scene was at Cole's wedding.

It was definitely Scotty. I wondered if his comment about the baby was re it being Cole's baby ie a Lockhart baby hence referring to the baby as 'ours'. Great episode!

Oooh good point oneowlgirl, never thought of that interpretation.

The only time I can think of the 2 of them together in the pregnancy time frame was after Scotty went to their house and accused Cole of "shagging" Luisa, and then Alison appeared with a towel round her and Scotty was very surprised to see her it seemed.
We don't know what happened after that.

Enthusiasm, I'm definitely noticing things on re-watching series 1 that would have passed me by first time around. Well worth a second view - with all the jumping back and forth time-wise it doesn't even really matter that I'm watching both series at the same time!

Aw, poor ole Alison.
I'm only halfway through the latest episode, but so far, it looks as if
she's getting a taste of what life was like for Helen when their affair was going on.
i.e. a partner who is mentally and emotionally absent and can't wait to be somewhere else.,

It's good that the writers are injecting some realism into the series and are showing what happens when cheats get together and how it's not always plain sailing.

I thought Scotty saying "The baby is ours" is a reference to the Lockharts being cursed and their babies dying. I think he just meant the baby is a Lockhart.

It is obviously Cole's baby and Alison, just like her mother did, is doing the best she can for the baby by marrying a famous writer living in a posh neighbourhood.

Why was adultery reported in the paper a problem? I thought everyone knew what went on who read the book.

I don't think the adultery being mentioned is a problem - but alison doesn't want it explored for $$$$

Yes it was Scotty I've just this minute watched it. And I guess he knows when he saw Alison and Cole together and put two and two together. I really enjoyed tonight. I'm with her mother on the house front can't believe she sold it really.
