Back next week on Sky Atlantic.

Loved series 1 apart from rubbish ending and so many loose ends.

Noah didn't explicitly say he had seen Alison.

I think they got an insurance payout after the fire?

It definitely didn't see her in fact I think that's where the deer story came from. So, the ex wife knows nothing of Alison been there either, in both stories and Alison doesn't know that she was in the car?

Alison knows Helen was driving the car - that's why she told him to tell the truth of who was driving & he said no, as she's the mother of his children & then she said he'll have to choose, as the alternative was to point the blame to Alison.

Helen isn't aware of Alison though, unfortunately.

Wow. Just seen and have avoided thread till now

So noah is innocent but between his gf alison pushing and ex wife helen driving they both killed scotty

And in s1 with all the questioning they knew what had happened to scotty but played dum

Tbh Noah was a bit silly putting car into garage saying hit a deer that night rather then leave it a few weeks or even pretend to crash car following morning into a wall

Hence why helen is paying for his shit hot lawyer as she was driving

Still weird that attending the wedding was the grooms ex wife and partner - Ali and Noah

Groom ex wife's partners ex wife and mil - tho She is the brides mum boss

Did feel a bit sorry for scotty. He got his act together and sober and thought he was having a stake in the diner

Why did alison tell Noah Joanie wasn't his but not tell cole and yes suprised Cole didn't add dates up

Assume Noah and alison got married asap so that they can't testify against each other

And surely alison would work out why helen was paying (scene in police station) and she knew she was in the car and driving - guilt

I wonder if Whitney will be different next time we see her as surely it will be a year down the line? I hope it's not going back and forth againin Noah's story she tells him the baby might not be his and in her story she says it definately isn't his?

By the time they get to court is it possible that they have had another baby? And that therefore Noah and Ali definitely have one of their own by then.

I seem to remember Noah and Ali on a sofa just before? he was arrested and that the baby had just gone to sleep. Surely it must be a new baby. Maybe Joanie was at Cole's by then ...

I never saw the baby at the wedding? I also thought how easily Alison must've just detached from Joanie the amount of times she left her to go to montauk for weeks at a time. I found that strange.

Joanie was a baby under a year when alison was studying / then following summer she was working doing diner up so Joanie must have been 18+mths

She was with Noah's parents at Coles wedding

Noah did see Alison. He is protecting both. Alison if she told her story given Scottie's history she might be found not guilty but Helen wouldn't as she was over the limit to drive. The innocent in the series (or the one who has not cheated) is now the most guilty but she shows little or no remorse and still wonder if when was trying to frame Alison

Alison is a massive dick really isn't she, hiding the truth about Joanie is just awful and not just that..she reveals this at a wedding?! Nice one. Her and Noah should stay together, they suit eachother.

I don't think she is an awful character I think she has suffered the most (along with Cole) and was wanting happiness again. I think that is what the series shows we are not all good or all bad we can act selfishly and be twatish then are able to change that around (Noah pleading guilty)

Noah's face when he turned to Alison after pleading guilty was interesting. I think he looked quite excited by the drama and needs have that adrenaline rush to write his trash fiction.

I do agree with pp re it being so good as it shows all the shades of grey if people, rather than just black & white.

Wonder when series 3 will be on TV?
