They now think its someone on the inside as the second killer! Theories please...

I'm probably wrong but still think its viv's partner, the look the dead suspect gave him when they met on stairs in episode 4. In last night's episode he soon disappeared when Cathy came round probaly incase she recognised him. I think next week they will suspect members of team and maybe find out in final week ?

I think that's what we're supposed to think, I'm not sure if it will end up being him or not !

Viv was brilliant when the suspect was dying following the car crash.
I hope it isn't her husband though.
We're being steered in the direction of a member of the team.

if its somebody with inside knowledge it cant be many people can it ? And are we guessing its a character already known ?

i am utterly clueless and with two episodes left it could completely change. I am really enjoy this series though and glad its a 8 part one not 6 !

I bloody love the programme. Haven't got into anything on TV for ages, and I'm totally hooked!!

As usual though, I'm not as clever as most of mn.
I have missed lots of these little jokes and I certainly didn't consider vivs partner as a suspect

It's like the Life on Mars thread all over.... I didn't see ANY of the things coming in that!!!

I love the strong femal cast, and think it seems pretty sensitively handled, in terms of the guy dying in the car last week etc.

I really want to know what real life Police Officers think of it!

Don't worry, Chimchar, most of the time I don't have a clue what's going on, I need my DP to explain it to me, rather in the manner of some useless sitcom wife. Doesn't stop me enjoying it.

I thought it was Viv's partner, too. Because he changed and Viv noticed. The least conspicuous are the two officers in the patrol car who left the warehouse, so it also could be one of them. Not exactly great reasoning.

It is like Parks and Recreation for police. Very entertaining, funny women. Yay!!!

So disappointed it's Viv's husband. Much too obvious. Also hated the photo/file burning - just don't think she would do that! This character has spent weeks trying to catch a calculating, evil child murderer & now we are meant to believe she would cover up for him & carry on as normal???

Why did him playing the keyboard make her realise?

It was the same tune that the autistic man in the flat next door to the guy they thought was the killer last week kept playing over & over. He was playing it when Dinah & Viv went to search the flat.

Cathy knows it's him as well though doesn't she? I remember her saying in a previous episode that she remembered his smell.

Can't wait for the next episode! I really hope they do another series. The writing & performances have been excellent.
