Just watched THE episode - heartbroken. I feel ridiculously sad! Why?? Totally agree that they should have left him in DC, not killed him off. The irony of him dying due to sub-standard doctors. Gutted.

I've just about dried my eyes! I loved McDreamy, there is is Dad on the school
run that looks just like him without my glasses on if I see him in the morning it may open the flood gates again!!

I really am so upset - glad I knew what was going to happen as I doubt I would have coped with the devastation (had I not seen that coming). I really loved Derek & just feels like the past 10 years have been a waste of time - poor Meredith, if only she'd stuck with the vet!!

Well, the vet went off to LA to join NCIS so not sure that would have worked out

Anyway. Did anyone else thing there were enormous plot holes in it? Enormous like drive a bus through.

I also read online that PD didn't want to be in GA anymore as he's too into his motor racing and GA filming was getting in the way of it.

Yes I did notice the holes. why was the truck going so fast. why was there no warning sign as the police and ambulance only just left. why did the phone suddenly work. why didn't he drive them.all to the hospital himself. are drs really that sexist and incompetent. do grieving widows really give pep talks.

Exactly. He had a fully functioning car. Had a cursory look for the phone but nothing else. Surely first thing to have done would be summon help. Get back in the car and drive 60 seconds down the road to where there was reception to call for help.

Or get the injured people into his car and take them to a hospital. Smoke signal? Wtf.

It was all a bit mundane to justify the story line holes etc. Its a shame they should have incorporated it into a finale....he was pretty much as likeable and important a character as Mark Sloan who got a weird rip thing at the end of the credits when he died? Shouldn't the sentiments of the audience be more valid than shonda rhymes personal likes and dislikes?

Devastated about McDreamy... really wondering how long the show will continue. I swore I would stop watching when Yang left (she was my favourite, what a babe) but couldn't resist, and no i'm not sure how long the show will continue for. There is no way Cristina wouldn't go to Meredith, so it's definitely going to become unrealistic. It's just not as fun Meredith being dark and twisty now she is a grown woman with children, it's just kind of sad and heartbreaking

It's the bloody flashbacks! They continue into the next episode as well, like they're just filling airtime. We get that Meredith is at a crossroads in her life, where she go 'full Ellis' and into a permanent Medusa mode from which she may never return. Just as Ellis did when she lost the love of her life. (Including having a child in secret). But really - the endless 'carousel' bit and flashbacks to season 1. Gimme a break.
