I think even for Grey's the symbolism of 'dead person - other dead person' would have been a bit too clunky

Arggggghhhhh why did I open this why????!!!!! I'm watching on sky. I knew he was going to die , that was obvious, but the first reply giving details of how he went has proper annoyed me.

Am I the only one who thought the two hour episode was rubbish? I started watching on Friday, got bored, and finished it this morning.

I didn't feel a bit of emotion at all, it was too disjointed and rushed for me.

I remember a time when I couldn't watch GA without crying through the episode, before Derek dying I can't remember the last time I cried when watching.

Definitely not a good episode, brittanyfairies. It was like no-one could be arsed doing any real acting. (Apart from Amelia in one scene and the poor old burn victims).

Nope. Still another 2 episodes of this season and a 12th season has been agreed.

The synopsis for this week's episode says that yet a-bloody-gain there will be a catastrophic event at the hospital. Oh for god's sake. What will it be this time? Entire female staff kidnapped by Boko Haram? Satellite crashes to Earth and lands on the hospital? Tsunami? Every single person there has survived multiple plane, ferry and car crashes, floods, gunmen and being stabbed by icicles. Mind you, given a year has gone by without anything bad happening they must have been wondering how much longer it could be before the sky fell in again.

I've been re watching from the beginning, Meredith has just narrowly avoided being blown up and poor Izzy is about to have her heart broken in two by Denny.

I'm up to the one where she's just met the vet having taken up knitting

What the hell did Patrick Dempsey do is what I'd like to know. He's been killed, buried and mourned entirely within two episodes. Gone, poof!

On a different note, I really like the idea of Alex and Maggie together. Sorry Jo.

No no, no more relationship drama for Alex. He and Jo are well suited and after Izzy and Rebecca surely he can't take any more.

It does rather leave a gap for Maggie though - Jackson would be good if April could ever decide whether she wanted to be married to him or not. McSteamy would have been great for Maggie but alas .. in the way of all men who have had a relationship with Addison who aren't Taye Diggs it was sayonara sooner or later.
