Anyone else looking forward to this one? After last time I think there a BOys and a Girls island though it is just boys tonight. Roll up roll up anyone who has no idea how to lit a fire or build a shelter whilst knowing they are going on a survival program!

I love it but I would much rather see more of it than these random edits and cuts.

Oh please, that leadership thing was a pile of want, wasn't it? The storyline needed it, I guess, for the journey. And I think that Lauren's Atlantic row counted as survival experience, actually.

And the coconut path thing was glimpsed in a previous episode.

I reckon most of what you see was filmed in the first couple of weeks and that they spent the last two weeks just jamming round the fire, eating fish, dicking around with bunting and talking mucky

I can't believe it would take you till the fourth week to get a fucking net sorted (see also: Men's Island)

That last scene, where they're all on the adjoining island sitting at a long table? There was a dog wandering around stage left. Did anyone else want one of the girls to point at it and shriek "Look! FOOD!!"

I really hope that all that tarting up (and beds made not on the ground) really wasn't done in just the last week

I could repair a fishing net AND weave leaves together to make a waterproof surface. However I look shit in a bikini and I'm not keen on limpets so will not be applying for the next series

Julie's weight loss was awful, her neck and shoulders particularly so. And her bra was half empty. I liked Julie very much, a real grafter.

Why didn't the women seem to need as much water as the men, or was their water source nearer to their camp, making collecting it more convenient?

I was surprised at how little the women lost weight, barring a couple of them that were skinny when they started and got even skinnier, the rest still seemed heathly, compared with the men who really do look like they have being starving for quite a while.

That's because they had magic none rusting floating baked bean tins in the Pacific Ocean. Baked beans being well known for their availability on the Pacific Rim.

Especially the convenient ring pull ones imagine if they'd found a hoard of corned beef tins. Even with the key thing I can't always get them open. And yes, I actually like and buy it. Not often, but I do.

I am going out to hunt and skin my own lunch now. No wait, I am going to Sainsburys to get some baked beans...

I'm halfway through the application form for the next series. I've got to do a three min video about why I want to be on the island....so trying to think of funny and witty stuff to say now.
