Anyone else counting down the days! I actually get nervous thinking about it. I have re watched all series and reading the books to pass the time.

Can't wait to see what they do with Sansa and Tyrion this series. And will we see the hound again and lady stone heart?

And i think it's quite obvious now the white walkers are going to take over and the only person who can stop them is Dany with her dragons.

I don't think it has to be Dany though. It doesn't even have to be all the dragons. Drogon is definitely Dany's but there are 2 others up for grabs. Isn't Bran the "winged wolf"? Hopefully that is not about ravens.

Valyrian steel, dragonglass and dragonfire for the white walkers plus normal fire for the wights should do the trick.

So was the chief White walker the Night King? And also I did roll my eyes a bit at the 4 horses of the apocalypse WWalkers.

I think the Nights King is a Stark - or at least Old Nan said so, and she seems to have the highest score on being right. He seemed to have just been messing with their minds when he raised the dead. I wonder why they came back now, and what they want. Maybe they are not evil.

I doubt Sansa dies now, but I can see Theon or Asha dying. Discovering Arya's death may be the last scene at least in the books, as it is foreshadowed in the first book.

Amber I am convinced that Brienne or probably her child survives at the end of the story. (I know she is totally a virgin.) Ser Hyle or whatever his name is raising Jaime's child, so that in 17 years' time there can be another storm brewing. I know the current Lannister crop are shit rulers, but so were most of the Targs and the Targ children are venerated.

I thought Ramsay was amazing channelling his inner Lord Bolton. Him and Roose genuinely looked and sounded related. (I am not a Bolton fan, just talking about the actors.)

There was all that hooha earlier in the year when MF's IMDb entry had her playing "hooded woman" this season. It was quickly dismissed as just scurrilous rumour but of course that'd be what they'd want us to think, wouldn't it?

Caught up last night WOW!!!! it was the last 60 seconds that did it for me John on that boat the silence could just feel the horror watching what was happening in front of him with the dead rising at the end. It has redeemed the series for me.

I have never been that interested then Dany hopefully now she has a new sparring partner she will be a bit more interesting.

I'd actually forgotten about Gendry (despite reading about him rowing on here!) I'm half way through book 2 and was reading an Arya chapter and came across his name and suddenly thought 'were the f is he!!'
He has to be in the equivalent of Australia by now doesn't he!! (That being with Westeros being positioned somewhere similar to Britain (but size of N America) in my head!
