Grin Anyone else counting down the days! I actually get nervous thinking about it. I have re watched all series and reading the books to pass the time.

Can't wait to see what they do with Sansa and Tyrion this series. And will we see the hound again and lady stone heart?

OP posts:
youngestisapyscho · 01/06/2015 23:39

When the giant entered the water and walked past the boat, I thought he was gonna grab it and drag it with him!

Gumps · 01/06/2015 23:48

I clicked on here as I can't sleep having just watched GOT tonight. Such a good episode. However I spent the whole time saying please don't die John Snow. From what I've just read amI right in thinking that my heart is going to be broken soon?! Shock

honeyroar · 01/06/2015 23:59

If they follow the books Gumps, so who knows! And even in the books nobody who read it is sure what really happened.

Www.gameofthrones.com has the producers discussing each episode. Very interesting

honeyroar · 02/06/2015 00:01

They said that knowing her family are not all dead lifts Sansa's strength when she was low again...

yumyumpoppycat · 02/06/2015 00:18

That was amazing. Did the extra creepy white walker at the end let the boat go? Surely they could have stopped Jon if they really wanted? Was it a message?

mammuzzamia · 02/06/2015 00:41

That white walker that raised the dead looked like Billy Idol.

He did Grin

I thought the battle was great though. I like JS but don't fancy him, far too teeny tiny.
The scenes I find most boring are the Arya scenes and the many faced god, in the book especially.

Cooroo · 02/06/2015 06:23

MerynFuckingTrant I suspect a girl will spot you before the season is over. The world may not be your oyster.

Loved every minute of Arya this season. The 'gambler' is surely an insurance salesman who doesn't pay out?

Moogdroog · 02/06/2015 06:39

I normally lurk on this thread, but I couldn't get to sleep last night and have been awake since 5, so spooked am I. And I've read the books.
Shock

SerJorahsSecondChoice · 02/06/2015 08:45

The thing that worries me most about Jorah is looking at the series as a bigger picture. We were told that there were going to be several deaths this series, most of which were characters who don't die in the books. I think they said 5 deaths. So far we've had (BOOK SPOILERS COMING UP):
Mance Raydar (not dead in the books)
Janos Slynt (can't remember if dead in the books)
Barristan Selmy (not dead in the books)
Maester Aemon (dead in the books)
Rattleshirt (dead in the books but I doubt that he'd be considered a bit enough character in the show to include in the body count).

Couple that with the fact they are all what I call tier 3 or tier 4 characters, and the fact that there is always a tier 1 or 2 character death in episode 9 or 10, and yeah - I'm starting to get worried.

I think it will either be:
-Jorah

  • Sansa
  • Ramsey
  • Theon (now he's done his big reveal re Bran and Rickon, and given how unpredictable Ramsey is...)

MASSIVE BOOK SPOILERS FOLLOWING!!

GREM has said that certain characters will be in the final book/ to the end of the show. So we can presume they are safe. There are 5 of them and he has named them - I know who they are. The people included won't surprise anyone but there are two names notably omitted that I think many people assume would be 'safe.' Doesn't mean they'll meet a sticky end but does suggest they might be killed off earlier than expected.

If anyone wants to know the 7 names pm me.

mammuzzamia · 02/06/2015 10:15

Mance's was a fake death in the book and he came back, but thanks to Jon's arrow in the fire (that didn't happen in the book did it?) I can't see that happening now.

Safe - Tyrion, Sansa, Jon, Jamie, Daenaerys

not safe/dead - cersei, Arya, Reek/Theon, Jorah, Ramsey

That's my guessing by the way

May I have a PM please Grin

MerynFuckingTrant · 02/06/2015 10:21

I think Theon may try to rescue Sansa and possibly succeed (like he does with Jeyne poole in the books) but I can't see where his storyline can go after that in the tv series so I wonder if he will get killed in the battle or perhaps Brienne will kill him as she knows about his betrayal of Robb and thinks he killed Bran and Rickon too. Can't see Ramsey actually killing him.
If Jorah doesn't die in this series, he could kind of follow Jon Conningtons story in the book and gather men using his impressive fighting skills to form an army and go to Westoros in support of Dany.

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 02/06/2015 11:13

I reckon Bran, Jon Snurr, Dany and Tyrion are safe. I'd like Arya to be safe, too.

Can I have a PM?

yumyumpoppycat · 02/06/2015 11:24

I think Tyrion isn't in the safe 5 and that someone new or in the background like asha or shireen is going to be a key player toward the end.

SerJorahsSecondChoice · 02/06/2015 11:36

Pms sent!

EhricLovesTheBhrothers · 02/06/2015 11:47

Oh can I have a PM too please?

Agent160 · 02/06/2015 11:53

Could I also have a PM, please?

yumyumpoppycat · 02/06/2015 12:09

Ok I tried to resist but can't, can I have a pm too please thank you Ser Jorah!

DirtyDarylDixon · 02/06/2015 12:35

Can I have a PM too please?

MarjorieWinklepicker · 02/06/2015 12:42

Ooh can I have a PM too please? Been lurking on this thread from the beginning Smile

Daimgirl · 02/06/2015 13:44

Ohhhhhhhhh, can I please have a pm?

happymonkey13 · 02/06/2015 13:48

Can I have a PM too please? Thanks!

MarjorieWinklepicker · 02/06/2015 14:05

And i think it's quite obvious now the white walkers are going to take over and the only person who can stop them is Dany with her dragons.

mammuzzamia · 02/06/2015 14:07

For sure!

SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 02/06/2015 14:52

About the valyrian (sp) steel - the sword Jaime gave to Brienne was made of it, it was part of Ned's sword which had been melted down. Some of it also made a sword for Joffrey, but I'm not sure what happened to that. Also, the dagger Littlefinger planted to make it look as though Tyrion had tried to kill Bran was made of valyrian steel. Not sure if any of this is relevant to the end of the story though.
