Grin Anyone else counting down the days! I actually get nervous thinking about it. I have re watched all series and reading the books to pass the time.

Can't wait to see what they do with Sansa and Tyrion this series. And will we see the hound again and lady stone heart?

I thought I'd wandered into an episode of the walking dead, the scene took up far too much of the episode what with only two left now,

JS and the white walker, is it his sword ( Valyrian steel? Wasn't it Mormont's ) that's got the power or is it him?

Are Sam and Gilly going to go to the Citadel at all, probably not as there isn't a Mance baby to hide away in the series.

When is Sansa going to gut Ramsay like the animal he is?

I fear there is going to be so much left hanging at the end, it's both annoying and mesmerising in equal measure at the moment.

Trills · 01/06/2015 21:07

Right, anyone watching raaltime is busy watching it now so we can talk right?

Hands up if you think that zombies (who do not need to breathe) can just walk into the water and reach up and grab you?

FUCKNG ROW!

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 01/06/2015 21:09

I know! Stop fucking standing there all agog, you twunts!

Trills · 01/06/2015 21:09

I don't think that took up too much of an episode, there's form for having one whole episode a season focus on a massive fight (e.g. Blackwater in season 2, Watchers on the Wall in season 4).

I could just watch Tyrion and Dany chatting forever though.

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 01/06/2015 21:12

Some super interesting theories out there btw, regarding the white walker being interested in Jon Snow. Was he interested in him or the fact they now know valyrian steel can kill them?

Trills · 01/06/2015 21:13

Oh and

Valyrian steel - fuck yeah!

I am like a crazed sports fan - shouting "get the dragonglass" and "Valyrian steel" and mostly "ROW you bastards, ROW"

ILikeToClean · 01/06/2015 21:22

I watched earlier today (record the 2am show) and was shouting WTF at the telly the whole time, it was like an episode of The Walking Dead!

Does this sound crazy - I wondered if some of the white walkers were people we knew, the one that fought with Jon I thought bore a resemblance to Commander Mormont and the one on the banks who raised the dead looked like Rob Stark! It's probably just me!! Blush

Like the chemistry between Tyrion and Dany,

Episode 8 of each season is always a humdinger isn't it?!

Trills · 01/06/2015 21:23

Did you hear the title drop?

Someone definitely said the words "feast for crows".

And that woman was dead the minute she lovingly kissed her child and promised to follow.

I was the same Trills...when he smashed that wight in a casual, super move (not the WW with the sword) I jumped up, did a fist pump and screamed "He's such a badass!!!" quite hysterically. My DH was a bit Hmm

BoulevardOfBrokenSleep · 01/06/2015 21:30

Same here, trills DH has been relying on my book knowledge till now
and foolishly considers me an expert.

'Can the zombies walk in the water?' 'I don't know...maybe? Probably?'
'why are they not rowing the boat?' 'I don't know! ROW!!'

Trills · 01/06/2015 21:32

Apparently there are no zombie stories in their world?

Or Jon didn't like to hear them?

I know Bran liked to hear Old Nan tell spooky stories.

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 01/06/2015 21:34

Did anyone else find it confusing when the Thenn cannibal guy said all menacingly at the meeting "Eef you get into dose ships, I weell slit your shroats and dump your bahdies into de wahder!" and then the next scene he's happily loading people into the boats with them when the mist rolls in?? Confused

Trills · 01/06/2015 21:39

I heard it as "if you get into those ships, HE will slit your throats and dump your bodies in the water"

The Thenn thought Jon Snow was lying and would just kill them all.

But when it was risk that or ZOMBIES, it seemed worth it.

rallytog1 · 01/06/2015 21:40

Boulevard Yes! We were pretty much screaming at them to just bloody well row at the end.

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 01/06/2015 21:40

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. That makes much more sense! Blush Grin

TheFirstOfHerName · 01/06/2015 22:02

I think it's safe to say that Winter is here, at least in Hardhome.

Cooroo · 01/06/2015 22:09

I loved the Wildling mother and was looking forward to seeing more of her - until as Trills pointed out she promised to follow her daughters soon!

Enjoyed Tyrion and Dany - by far Dany's most interesting scene in a long while, and a pleasure we haven't had in the book yet. Yes yes to the 'feast for crows' line.

ArabellaStrange · 01/06/2015 22:10

Ramsey said 'feast for crows'. I feel genuinely sorry for Cersei, but she always was iron rather than steel. I think Sansa is going to die before the end of the season Sad

Tequilashotfor1 · 01/06/2015 22:11

WOW! Shock ive missed this kind of GOT this season.

Why the fuck where they rowing slowly ?? I'm scared !!

Tequilashotfor1 · 01/06/2015 22:13

The red witch is in throne cast!

Tequilashotfor1 · 01/06/2015 22:13

On*

Tequilashotfor1 · 01/06/2015 22:16

Danny's Dragons could make dragon glass! Danny could save them aaaallllll!

TheFirstOfHerName · 01/06/2015 22:17

Yes, sadly the Wilding woman might as well have put a red jumper on as soon as she told her daughters that she'd be right behind them.

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 01/06/2015 22:17

What do the White Walkers want? Is it in the books? Or are they the usual zombie/sci-if monsters that don't really have specific motivations beyond 'kill, maim, repeat'?

I was also shouting 'row you bastards'. And I thought the figure in the cape, at the stern of the boat JS escaped in was going to be revealed as a wight/blue-eyed dead one/whatever they are called.
