As for my RL identity - I'm 28, married for 5 years with 5 children under 5 (my DH is in the forces and away on tour a lot and we like to catch up when he's back). My statistics are 36-22-34 and my married name is Mrs James......oops no hang on, that's a complete figment of my imagination.

My real RL is a lot more unexciting. I'm 49, married for decades, 3 kids nearly 18, 15 and 11 and from Berkshire. My statistics are more like 38-38-42, I've never been involved in this kind of chat or any kind of media type stuff like FB or Twitter - don't understand it. And I absolutely adore this thread and you lot of mad cockwombles. My obsession with CJ is totally not me so I'm putting it all down to hormones and carrying on regardless. My kids would be mortified if they knew what I got up to on here Xmas Grin

pixieg1rl · 18/12/2014 14:57

Ok people, let me tell you my FF's that are currently being written

1- R&R day. The day from begining to end alternating between MD and CJ. Progress so far, CJ has just dipped his spoon in her cocoa pops Wink

2 - CJ and Smurf. I have a start for this one and I know where I want to get at the end, but not much in between.

There is another one, set a year or so in the future, but I'm doing army research on that right now.

On stag purchasing news, I found this mug (also a matching cake tin & coaster set) in Lakeland. Request to SPO to weave a stag cake tin into the zombie story.

Might have to get stag mug for new job. -bit more subtle than having one printed with CJ drinking coffee sitting on jeep. Good impressions and all

Teasing us with your talent pixie Smile. Can't wait!

Thanks for all the replays to my film question. richtea your list is so more more sophisticated than mine! And Cherin we've obviously just got amazing taste in movies and random blokes off the tv (never met anyone who'd even heard of running on empty before, never mind liked it!).

And I've also watched Yanks, they filmed the steam train section in the main town next to the village where I up in.

Thanks ice for the Reign update. I'm obviously still suffering the OG effect if I can think a small section of leatherclad knee is attractive...

Ditto re knee Elsie Xmas Blush

galaxy99 · 18/12/2014 15:39

pixie can I request another fan fiction? As DH has been away all week I have indulged in watching the whole series through, nothing was ff and I would love you to do a Molly's point of view for episode 4. There is such a change in CJ between episode 3 and episode 4, one minute he is dipping his spoon in her cocoa pops the next he is saying he isn't looking forward to going home and he doesn't answer when she says about them being a mistake. It would be good to read Molly's take on this. I'm sure you haven't much on this weekGrin and could fit it in!!

cjwoofwoof · 18/12/2014 15:55

Ooh pixie can't wait for those stories, double away now and get writing. That's true, galaxy CJ does dither about a bit in Ep 4, one minute not answering her and then inviting her to Bath for Christmas. Not like CJ at all to be a ditherer - usually all manly and making requests for coffee pods and adoring me her forever.

pixieg1rl · 18/12/2014 16:00

I can't do another story at the moment, sorry. I don't think CJ is dithering in ep 4, he's trying to keep professional and wait out like a good soldier. Molly might think he's keeping her at arms length or that he's going off her.

Richtea19 · 18/12/2014 16:09

So exiting pixie, who needs Tony grounds! Thank you x

Elsie I thought my film choices were a bit boring and old compared to everyone else's! I am definitely stuck in a time warp. If we get on to music choices,.... I'm getting better because of the children and Dermotts radio show. However generally stuck in the 70s , I blame my parents. They were party animals during my childhood. In fact they were the original swinging lot.... Pampas grass in the front garden!!!

galaxy99 · 18/12/2014 16:14

cjwoofwoof do you have DSs or DDs? (that is a question about your children not vital statistics) as it strikes me that most of us have just boys.
Do you all think we were more predisposed to watch something about the army because of this? (I'm lucky if I can get to the toilet and back without coming under sustained nerf gun fire) or maybe its because we are surrounded by crazy males that we crave some sensible (that might be stretching a point) female conversation on here?

elsie3g · 18/12/2014 16:20

DD 6, DD just turned 5, DS 2

And no time (apart from this thread!) and more bags and wrinkles than 6 years ago!

mummyreeds · 18/12/2014 16:21

Saw a zombie gnome today whilst out Christmas shopping, made me smile! Wonder if SPO can incorporate one of them in his next episode?

Ilovelblue · 18/12/2014 16:36

cjwoof I've never thought CJ dithered in those scenes, more a case of wrestling with his own feelings versus being a professional soldier. He just sort of closes down at one point in the scenes where she says "Sometimes I don't know how I keep my hands off you" (or similar, I'm at work, so can't check) but it must leave Molly feeling very confused. I know it would me.

I'm back at the hospital tomorrow. Hoping very much to get discharged because the only other option open would be a full operation with anything up to a 3 months recovery time and my arm in a sling which I definitely don't want. It's all a lot better than it was, though not perfect, but I can live with it how it is. Fingers crossed.

Do we know how beingfrank is after her hospital procedure? beingfrank have you come back to us yet?

Nickel45 · 18/12/2014 16:37

SPO, that should be fine shouldn't it? A stag cake tin and zombie gnome. Can't wait for the next chapter Xmas SmileXmas WinkXmas Smile

icemistOBE · 18/12/2014 16:47

I put it down to him being all professional. And I think the comment about not wanting to go home is

  • he's got to tell her about Rebecca and Sam
-he does enjoy army life on tour

But I can imagine being Molly and it feeling very much like getting mixed signals. Although after she asks him if it's a mistake he does tell her "I'm not letting you out of my sight" when they are going on the first mission.

Must watch Ep 4 again...

All this talk of watching episodes, I'm dropping DH off at works meal tonight so have the TV to myself. OG first and then the last episode of The Fall.

cjwoofwoof · 18/12/2014 17:14

Oh dear think I've been outnumbered on the dithering front. I see your point, it could be he's just wrestling with his feelings and professionalism. Hmmm, back to the wrestling dilemma/vision/scenario...

galaxy I have all DSs too. A psychiatrist would have a field day on here.

Ilovelblue · 18/12/2014 17:14

Watching the semi-final of The Apprentice for me then OG all the way. Two evenings of entertaining, deserve to put my feet up tonight!

cherin · 18/12/2014 17:19

Ooooh yes, the fall! The final silk blouse! Must download on iplayer. Buggers, I am gonna need a medic. Both kids down with different symptoms, 3 days to go before departure, 4 potentially very disappointed grandparents and a fairly empty Xmas tree as we were planning to fill up the ones abroad. I don't even want to start thinking at a plan B. the only good thing about my dads chemio not working is that hopefully his immune system is not THAT bad and may cope with 2 grand kids spreading virus/bacteria around...? Or is it whishful thinking??

cherin · 18/12/2014 17:23

iloveblue I also have a wonky arm, leftover of a botched A&E intervention and a good surgery carried out a tad bit too late. Luckily it's the left one, so i carry out nevertheless...but I feel like am arthritic 70something and a human barometer most of the time. Make sure you get all the care and attention you need. I didn't want to be trouble, and now am regretting it.

elsie3g · 18/12/2014 17:23

NO SPOILERS for the Fall once you've seen it guys as I won't be able to watch it until tmw evening, but I will of course be reading this thread addictively a few times until then

Beingfrank · 18/12/2014 18:32

Iloveblue - yes, I came back to you a few pages ago! It was just an infected cyst so nothing to worry about. All good!

It was me who suggested the personal details revelations yesterday.

icemistOBE · 18/12/2014 19:01

It seems filming has finished on reign for Christmas. Wonder if BA is on his way home yet? I might get my autograph soon Grin

Ilovelblue · 18/12/2014 19:04

Sorry beingfrank I knew about the cyst but must have missed you being around yesterday. Put it down to overtiredness and Christmas preparation.
