(Not sure about the acting, that would be tough. Vittorio Gassman is the Italian equivalent of Gregory peck. Up there...an Atticus of some sort, if you know what I mean ;-)

The gay rumours come from the fact that there is no photos of him that look like he's with a girlfriend - although having said that there are none showing him looking like he
has a boyfriend apart from the one at the wedding (was posted here on prev thread but removed)

It's been commented a couple of times by production crew that the chemistry between LT and BA was amazing and I think that's what we see on screen and made the love story all the more believable.

I think I would be ok if there wasn't another series but I don't think I'd like another series if it was Molly and no CJ in it

Diverting thoughts...I watched some Italian movies on DVD, and unfortunately didn't realise I was buying them in the international version. Never been that disappointed! I mean, 900 by Bertolucci was by far one of my favourite movies of all times (gritty and violent as it is, but the cast! The actors! They are all there! Not to mention a very young and handsome and often naked Depardieu!). Well in English it's not even 20% of the effect of the original version. Same for inspector Montalbano on the BBC. Whoever is doing the subtitles hasn't got a clue what he's doing (criminal). Similar effect when I watch French movies, except that my French is not that good anymore, but I can still pick up discrepancies and lack of clarity. For pete's sake, if you translate for the wider public, do it with care...it's not a book, I understand, but it's still a piece of art (sometimes).

I agree icemist series 2 has to have MD and CJ in it again to work for me, even if it's a breakup and reunion type story. I quite liked a ff piece that had them split for 5 years then reunited at an army do, and they both realized they'd made a big mistake splitting, aaah cue violins it was so sweet.

Can Til Schweiger represent Germany in the Fireside wrestling? But in a non-speaking part, unless he's speaking in German. If you google, please ignore him in Nes Year's Eve, not at his best

Of course CJ is going to be ultra sweaty and exhausted after defeating Rupert, so I volunteer to be his Cold Damp Towel Woman to give him a good rub down and administer lubrication after the bout. Orphan you can help Rupert with any of his post-bout requirements.
