Evening all. Volume VII! Just got back from impromptu meal out with bottle of prosecco (and dp!), so slightly squiffy. Very excited to hear there's a new chapter from spo and am saving it to read in bed. (Will need to think of my excuses for when I erupt in laughter.)

Mmm, I think there's a possibility that CJ is an old skool, school pudding man, given that he probably went to public school and become sentimentally attached to spotted dick, jam roly poly and the like. Lashings of custard as well. And was the envy of all, because he could eat tons yet still remain gorgeously in shape! (It was all the extra curricular wrestling with Rupert...)

Welcome moojangles. Tell us more about these tall slender hipped young soldiers in low slung combats. Do we need a field trip to verify your findings?

As for bad King Antoine - well, he's certainly bad and I'm not having any problems imagining BA in the role... His two minutes has definitely inspired the writer.

Morning. Am still in bed with cup of tea brought by dp (we're going for another round of Christmas shopping today) so feel slightly guilty that I'm looking at pics of CJ and thinking what a perfect mouth he has!

ilove so some had seen the trailer, which featured CJ , then chose to watch Downton?? It was the trailer that persuaded me to watch the series. CJ, once spotted, could not be ignored! Your meal sounded really delicious by the way. Had you made the ice cream? (Have never made ice cream myself)

No it was Carte d'Or ice cream but I did make the sauce. It was hardly Come Dine With Me, honest. All the people were too nice for a start!

Oh, I couldn't face washing up in the morning - I feel your pain. The only way to get through it is to imagine CJ behind you helping you à la Patrick Swayze and Demi More in the pottery scene!

Oops posted too soon. I think when they saw the trailer they thought it was another boring guns and shooting thing. Clearly didn't take it in properly!

You people. I already have 2 FF stories swirling around my head and now I have the R&R day as well. What do think of this as a start?

The sun is filtering through the mesh windows of the tent. It's not that hot yet. Behind the flag curtain the lads put round my bunk I can hear sounds of life. Snorts, snuffles and other noises it's best not to think about. Boys can be pretty gross sometimes.

"It's R&R day, when you and I get to spend 14 hours on a plane together. Have you given any more thought to my offer of the mile high club?"

"Yeah, like you'd last 14 hours, 2 minutes more like from what I remember"

A chorus of laughs, whistles and "good one Molls!" "Rinsed you good and proper" explodes from behind the screen.
