Going to my sister's and staying over tonight, but eldest is remaining here to go to a party ( the latest of a long line of them this month) so his poor friend's mum will have the delights of dealing with a load of ' worse for wear' 18 year olds. My back is playing me up today, so am tottering around feeling like a real geriatric. Not sure how well pain killers and prosecco will mix later...

Welcome and thanks onlygirl I've really been enjoying your FF. I think we should bestow the title of 'mistress of smut' on you for services to our (well my) flagging libidos.

I've found writing FF to be very addictive, although my job and family are very good at getting in the way of it. I seem to write in small bursts when sitting on the loo these days.

Wow, thanks! You are all too kind! I must admit, it is a bit of an addiction at the moment. My job requires me to write a LOT of boring, factual, technical stuff, so to have a chance to actually write something interesting down is rare! Don't know how i'll manage to get back to the deathly dull work writing in the new year!!

And pixie - I totally love your writing btw! Your one shot of Molly's thoughts when she was watching CJ in the gym is probably one of my fave pieces of ff!

If only my hubbie knew I had been crowned mistress of smut - he would have a coronary. Between 2 kiddies and a hectic job, it's a wonder I remember what smut is!!!!

I have had a chance to watch my DVD, not all in one sitting and only once for each episode so far. Was a bit worried I wouldn't be into it as much as I was before but I'm right back there, phew!

onlygirl your ff is bloody brilliant! I'd given up on most of the fanfic because I too was finding it a bit confusing but saw a link one of the regular ladies on here posted and thought I'd have a quick look. That was just a few days ago so I had to find time (DH "what are you reading?" Me "school newsletters" DH "why are you blushing?" Well and truly rumbled!) anyway, I have been completely addicted to it. Naughty, but very,very nice keep up the good work!

Haha stressybird, busted! If the school newsletters we got started to contain a bit of naked CJ, I might actually start to read them properly! Hoping to get a start on the next chapter tomorrow - I have a vague idea of what I want to do with it, just need to find the time to get it written!

Honestly, thanks to everyone for making me feel welcome - I am so very glad to know I'm not the only nutter fan out there. A grand total of zero of my friends and family actually watched the show, never mind becoming ridiculously obsessed with it.

Very quiet NYE here due to complete lack of babysitters.
Hoping to make a dent in a nice bottle of prosecco throughout the evening though.

OMG, this is what happens when I don't have the opportunity to check in through the day! Onlygirl you are absolutely amazing. We've all said on here how good your stuff is if you read the last few weeks worth of postings. I have to confess I have been taking my phone to bed and re-reading yours each night before going to sleep (in the vague hope I will dream of CJ, though it's not happened yet. Not that that is your fault of course!!) I wrote part of one of the CJ Collective ones but yours is in a different (M rating!) league. Can't wait for your next chapter.

Well, Ilove Towers Restaurant is now closed for a while. I am a bit fed up of entertaining, truth be told. My friends have just gone as her mother in law came with them and she was falling asleep, so they took her home and so I am treating myself to an OG fest of all my favourite bits.

I know we've all said this before, but this thread is totally thrilling and if you had asked me this time last year if I would have become addicted to something like this because of a complete obsession with a fictional character and made lots of new internet friends because of it, I would never, ever, ever have believed you.

Long may we all stick together!

I've pleaded tiredness and have retreated from the in-laws downstairs and am doing a bit of sneaky writing before hitting my pit. I have hopefully added chapter 2 (I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing on the fanfic website, and as it's NYE the internet is rather slow) and have made a start on chapter 3, which is going to be tricky because it's the Rosabaya scene. I should be asleep, I reckon I've got about 5 hours before DS wakes up and I'm on wake up duty tomorrow.

Thanks to all of you for the last few months. You're doing nothing to get me over this obsession (in fact you are adding to it), and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Any suggestions how Molly takes showers at the FOB? The showers that we see are all rather al-fresco, do you think she would be expected to use them? If so would she have to use them by herself - they don't exactly offer much in the way of privacy.
