Strictly Come Dancing - too uncool?

I absolutely love this show and it just gets better every series. But I rarely admit to it in public and none of my friends watch it - they all watch X factor - which I love too but not as much. So would love to hear from anyone who loves it as much as me!

Sorry to be a bore, but who were Peter and Erin up against in the final two couples? I hope it wasn't Brendan and Claire, the poor sods have been there too often!!

who do you think should go next?

My money is on carole and matthew, they are a bit boring in my opinion and I don't know what the judges were looking at last week, I think as a couple they lack a spark.

Mark needs to up his game or else matt is going to nab the prize, that man is so competitive. And needs to let his competitive streak out considering he is a sportsman, he is way too nice! But lovely - sigh!

I thought Darren looked shattered during the vote off and VERY worried. But it shows that it doesn't pay to be first on and those who do least work end up paying for it.

But she was SO busy this work for Children in Need promo stuff etc.

I like Carol and her guy, they are working really hard. Lilia is obviously an AMAZING teacher, need Brendan and Claire to go, had enough of them, don't warm to them at all.

I thought Matts dance was amazing, glad the judges agreed with me!!

Mark needs to let go and go for it, think he needs Matt's drama teacher.

My husband insists we all have tea on our knees in front of the telly when SCD is on. He loves it. Comments about the dances. Bitches about the dresses. I had a discussion with him the other night about how to hold the arms out properly. Is this normal or should I be worried???

Oh Peaches - can you send him to my place - I would luuurrve to have these discussions with my dp (he can do it very well if he wants to) - but I guess somebody has to get tea, bath ds and put him to bed .

I really hope Carole goes this week. I think she's gawky and dawky. (Although a fab body for 43). Thought her cha was borrrriinnngg.

Emma's was at least entertaining (although, agree with Len - not a straight leg to be seen.) - A result I think of focusing on flashy dancing not on the basics.

I reckon Karen is a bit embarrassing hanging all over Mark?

I guess most rugby players wouldn't like to consider it but maybe there's some connection between ballroom and rugby. A NZ series was won by a rugby player (admittedly in NZ there are quite a few votes just in being a rugby player (although this guy had a pretty rough past and reputation and certainly lacked the Astaire-like look and smoothness of young Matt.)

Do they put out a DVD of the series?
What do they do with all the costumes at the end?

Oh, here is a question for all teh fans...so, if you were to take part in this sort of programme, which professional would you like the most to dance with?
For me Ian or Darren would be almost joint first choice, or if I couldn't have them (lol, that sounds tarty, lmao) then Matthew or Anton would be nice, too

I would choose Darren, a good sheffield lad. He's not very tall, and I am apparently the same height as his wife Lilia. But unfortunately I'd estimate I'm a good 2 stone heavier, so he'd have to pump iron.

I can't choose which partner - it would be sooo great having so much personal tuition from any of them. Except that horrible guy who was Georgina's partner - I agreed with the judge, he was at least bordering on abusive - yuck. I really like Vincent - he's very funny and chooses great routines and music but I wouldn't like to follow after Louisa - she's so fab. I adore Claire and Brendan together and would like to dance with Brendan but don't think I'm tough enough.

For me it would have to be Anton, as he has the patience of a saint and he would need it with me......my second choice would be matthew or darren as they both also come across as 'nice'. Could not have Brendon or James as would either end up crying or killing

I would like to dance with Brendan but I think he would scare me!!! So, I would probably plump for Ian or Anton, as they seem nice!!!
