I absolutely love this show and it just gets better every series. But I rarely admit to it in public and none of my friends watch it - they all watch X factor - which I love too but not as much. So would love to hear from anyone who loves it as much as me!

Agreed - you have to do it for us! I would love to learn but as dh is so ill he can barely walk, I think asking him to flit about the floor Ramprakash-stylee might be a bit rich. Obviously this is just as well for Karen or I would be winning Strictly next year for sure!

Wiki has some info on the Christmas special tomorrow, it says the six couples competing are:

Mark Ramprakash Karen Hardy
Emma Bunton Darren Bennett
Louisa Lytton Vincent Simone
Colin Jackson Erin Boag
Zoe Ball Ian Waite
Matt Dawson Lilia Kopylova

And that it's pre-recorded and each couple will perform their highest-scored dance. SURELY Mark and Matt haven't had to go and do that today, so I'm assuming it was recorded before the final?

Quite happy with Colin and Erin anyone but Emma (she expected to win! )

Reminded me of how brilliant Colin was last year. Glad they won.

Colin was fabulous, really pleased with the result. (I'm convinced it must have been filmed before the final, due the non-mentioning of it).

I think she could have stayed in longer this series if she wasnt so, whats the word affected so gushing about herself and darren and how much the judges loved them.

Thought Zoe and Ian did really really well and whats going on with Louisa and Vincent?

She was preening as the camera scanned over the couples before the names were called.

As far as I remember, the Christmas special was filmed during the week after Louisa and Vincent left [get a life emoticon]

They couldn't do the Monday show of "It takes two" because they were filming it.

So at that point, Emma, Mark and Matt were all still in it...(in case you couldn't work that out lol!)

Apparantly Vincent and Flavia were a couple in RL , but I was reading an article written before this series.Think him and Louisa are just friends though.

Thoughtit must have been after V&L went out because they reacted with 'not again'

Considering neither have been in training, Colin and Zoe were amazing. You forget how elegant she was in the last series! And how good was her rumba, when you think of all the rubbish rumba we saw in this series even by the 'good' dancers! Wish Karen and Mark had done their argentine tango though!

oh pre-recorded hey? I did wonder why Matt had said at the final it was his final dance and then there he was on the xmas show, now it makes sense, and probably explains why Mark was saying Karen had forgotten the moves, I did think but she only did the dance on saturday!!!!!

And it was filmed when Emma still thought she could win (That woman makes me so bitchy )
