I think that was the right decision based on that dance. Pixie wasn't going to win anyway, she'd never have got the votes.

Darcey's face was thunder there, and she crossed her arm rather than clapping. Did she strongly disagree with Len or was she just sad to see her go?

Pixie was very very gracious there, wasn't she?

Cannot stand Kevin this series, him crying about his 'cold' was wetter than a haddock's bathing costume (says DH)!

A Pixie/Frankie dance off this week would have been interesting.

Len did his job exactly as he should. He didn't rate Pixie's dance and Trent buggered up with the lift volume. I'm not sure Simon can win, but he was the better dancer tonight.

I don't think Simon can win either as I don't think he could get the votes.

Oh FGS, we started voting online three weeks ago, and since then 4-year-old dd has been 3 for 3 on the couple she voted for getting kicked off, and has been distraught each time. I thought at least she was safe this week voting for Pixie and Trent!

I'm glad she's gone. I think the BBC should stop putting women (as it's always women from what I recall) who can already dance and get 9s from week 1 in the competition. The public realise it's not fair and don't vote for them. Watching non dancers improve is much more fun.

Pixie just didn't do it for me as a person so for that I'm glad she's gone. I hope the beeb learn the lesson of this series and get more non dancers next time (but will hopefully learn - not the Judy and Scott type)

Wowser, I didn't expect that. Maybe Len and Darcy have been reading how the public prefer dancers who are "on a journey"

Oh that was tense I am pleased len saved simon. They were much better than trixie.

If you don't want spoilers or hints at spoilers, then it should be made clear in the title of the thread

I am totally in shock re Pixie going but pleased. She was far too smug for my liking and didn't have one iota of self-deprecation.

Good for Len, that was a brave decision but the right one on the basis of the dance-off performance.

That said, DD will be gutted! She adores Pixie.

Am in shock because loved Pixie but happy because loved Simon slightly more. If Simon and Christina don't share a smouldering kiss tonight after their relief at being delivered from another brush with Strictly Death then I'll pickle me walnuts.

Really glad Pixie was voted off. Clearly she got bumped up through the waltzoff. Found that all very subjective as there was no reasoning as to why who got ranked where. Was getting really tired of her perma-grin media-trained non-persona. (Ok maybe that a it harsh. But she did remind me of the red setter in Gary Larson's cartoon......).

Really liked Kevin last series and the beginning of this series, but he is just really over dancing now, and thinks it's all about him, which it shouldn't be, it's about the celeb, ie the one who's not a dancer.

Thrilled for Simon. Really like him and Caroline, liked him from the beginning and how can you not love Pashas choreography.

Thursday I clearly wasn't going to say who was voted off, but I'm not sure why doing a shocked Santa face is much of an issue, tbh.
