Pandora, Jake has an Argentine Tango next week and I think it'll suit him down to the ground. His AS and waltz both had the feel of the AT about them, so he'll get right into the sultry, moody character. I think he'll do some good footwork too, and Janette will give him some breath-taking lifts.

I'm excited.

I thought it was time for steve to go really he was ok but after what I read about ola and security it felt very false and Darcy with her guns comment meh imagine if any of the men said they were going to miss sunetras bangers/baps/puppies. Jake and his hips creep me out his facial expressions urgh yuck and he was over marked, I don't think Brendan is enjoying it this year his face is always like fizz

Mrsjayy, I agree about double standards re Steve and Sunetra; I said that upthread. You'd never get away with it the other way round.

Brendan doesn't always look that happy this series. Does he just not like Sunetra much? Or has he been doing it too long?

I also thought Brendan looked pale on Saturday. He does seem very subdued, normally he's one of the most outspoken ones. He has been doing Strictly for what, 11 years? Maybe he's just had enough. I remember last year he was absolutely gushing all over Sophie, and was always quick to defend her. He seems very quiet with Sunetra, maybe they don't get on that well? But then Sunetra seems like the kind of person you could get on with easily.

I'm glad Jake has an AT! He did the moody AS very well so I'm looking forward to it. I've got high hopes for him.

Sunetra and Brendan certainly don't come across as gushy close like some of them do but I think at the very least they have a healthy respect for each other. On ITT I think they look like friends.

Sunetras hair is almost Almost as fabulous as Flavias how do you get shiney hair, I really miss Flavia and Vincent, Maybe Brendan is just tired he seems to be ok at the group bits having fun etc, was lovely to see Robin last night I love him

Did they ever explain why Craig's dog was on ITT? Was it a 'Craig's a person too' PR mini-campaign?

Sunetra and Brendan didn't look all that friendly on ITT, IMO. Not frosty, exactly, but not that warm either.

Flavia and Vince should come back to do a pro Argentine Tango and show them all how it's done.

I disagree with previous comment about Jake being a one trick pony. I've loved his ballroom dances. I thought last week's dance (as it a tango?) was amazing. I'm looking forward to seeing him do an Argentine tango. I have a huge crush on him in EE but find him quite unattractive on the dance floor even though I think he's very good. Maybe it's all the gurning.

And I want Claudia's hair. Oh and I had a tearful moment when she got tearful too .

Villa, no, don't know about her daughter, but she must be doing much better or wild horses wouldn't have dragged Claud back. It was SO moving when she got tearful. I luffs her.

Jake's dance last week was an American Smooth, although it did feel more like a tango/AT. Mind you, so did his Godfather-styled waltz.

I'm the opposite: I don't watch EastEnders and find him utterly unattractive when he's just standing about on Strictly. But on the dancefloor –woah momma! Something just happens to him.

About 2-3 yrs ago I had a certain kind of dream about Max Branning and now I feel fully justified in it

I think Brendan is happy and mellow in his marriage and fatherhood, which is part of it, but also that he's been in it a looong time. Wouldn't be surprised if he goes next year, along with Ola.

I thought Karen Hardy was spot on in her analysis of the dancers on ITT last night. She pointed out that Frankie is putting no personality into her dances. "Dead behind the eyes" is how I'd put it! Whereas someone like Jake just oozes personality and scores well, despite not being the best technically. She also felt that Sunetra had somehow lost "oomph" since starting - wonder if her schedule is just all too much for her. She said on ITT last week that she and Brendan only manage to fit in 9hrs training per week - which is crazy!

Dotty, yes, I CHEERED when Karen voiced what no one else has dared (the judges seem to love her) and said Frankie showed no personality! Karen Hardy for head judge.

I love Karen. Also appreciated that she pointed out that Pixie and Trent were not in time with each other. I was disappointed that none of the judges mentioned that.

Me too! Other people get slated for being out of time. It seems that Pixie, along with Frankie, can do no wrong though.

Never thought I'd have said this, but I want Mark to win! No dance experience and has obviously trained like mad and is showing all his personality

I hadn't heard of Mark before the show so have no baggage. I think he's great. Since it seems likely that Sunetra will go home this weekend I'd like Mark to win too.

Me and dd want Mark to win we think he is great and seems to be having a blast,

I think I want Jake to win. I don't mind Mark (I didn't know of him before Strictly) and his improvement has been wonderful to watch, but I find Jake more interesting to watch. I think his acting skills show; his dances have a lot of light and shade, mood-wise. I like his relationship with Janette, too, and although I love Karen I just don't feel she and Mark have comparable chemistry.

Noooooo! Janette gives Jake the choreography and confidence to shine! she shows off a bit herself IMO

Talking of showing off........... what has happened to Kevin this season? He is the dance equivalent of the Duracell Bunny - everything is super fast and hyper. Even dancing alongside Karen (accompanying Bazza Manilow) in "Sunday's" show, he looked manic. It's very distracting.
