A very hopeful part of me says it's too obvious to kill off Capt James. (And also too option-reducing for the writers for subsequent series!) I wonder if his wife will suddenly appear??

Another one for the Captain James fan club! I've been enjoying the series. It's a bit more interesting than most TV at the moment.

Wouldn't the whole platoon (sorry, not sure of proper term for group of army folk on patrol together) have heard that ridiculous conversation as they tiptoed out to the body...seems the headset is how they communicate, and here she is gabbling away 'I'm fond of you'...what a pile of shite. I was hoping for a slightly stronger female lead...but the Captain, he can whip my arse into line any day he likes. Ooh err.

The radios are push to talk apparently so no, they wouldn't have heard.

lady apparently, according to those in the know up list who are married to soldiers, the radio only works if you push a button (looking back at other scenes I've noticed they do indeed push a button when communicating via radio). When sweeping for mines in particular, you wouldn't want to hear any chatter over the radio, do it is certain that both had their radios off.

James doesn't look too good in the latest clip released by the Beeb. According to the writer we finally find out his first name in the next episode which could mean anything (death, happy ever after, whatever) and Iwan Rheon is just [[https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=831566586863761&id=470911516262605 tease in another clip]]

but hoping that means that Capt James survives . And 14 years older isn't too much, is it she kids herself?

The twitter link says Molly is dealt a bit blow - ' will it draw her back to the front line or will she stay with Cpt James' or something like that.

Tenner says the big blow is something to do with Bashira

I'm in on the time share. And I loved Top Gun too. Guess I will forgive most things for a fit guy on screen. (wink)
