although slightly enjoyed the family dynamics going on last night, unfortunately DD's favourite programme and in fact Guardian seems to recommend it

sp loving a mans take on this obsession. I have a womance going on with Molly, totally stunning but on a normal way and amazing! Also teeny but might like me... Its not always the tall hot blonds that get the corkers.

Yes, the Rosabaya scene is my fave, the way he writes it beautifully on her arm (and she doesn't wash it off - she could easily have kept it on a piece of paper ) but obviously wanted to keep it as a reminder of him.

I wasn't sure what she meant about the 'different ball bag with you' line. I took it to mean she was feeling unsettled adjusting to being back home but the part of her life with him in it was keeping her sane.

I thought with the Charles comment in the restaurant that she just felt more comfortable saying boss than his first name rather than she didn't know it - I obsess far too much!

I thought the reference to 'a different ball bag' simply meant that their situation had now changed as they were free to pursue a relationship whereas before they couldn't openly do so.

I will start another thread if you like...need some suggestions for a name for it though as want it to be right!

The FB Our Girl page posted the pic of CJ in the paddling pool about half an hour ago. I just because I am such an obsessed saddo timed how many likes it got in a minute - over 20! It's up to 656 already. Go and show it some more love if you haven't already. The comments are really funny (as are all the comments on any of CJ's pics.)

Found a few new photos on Anthony Philipsons Twitter. He was one of the producers/directors.

I think the only one who guessed about their relationship besides smurf is that officer who the leads the team after smurf and cpt James are injured (I can't remember his name).

I think he guessed from when they were singing together, but he eludes to it when they are on the beach in Cyprus, and says something like but you'll still have smurf. Also when he walks in on them after she gets back from England.

I think when she talks about it being a different ball bag with him she means that it's different for her in terms of her mental state when she's with him - she talks about it being difficult to get a calmness when she's at home. By which I think she means no one at home understands but it's different with him because he does?

Ihearttc - that's my favourite line too. There's something about that little exchange that is so real - and that seems so unscripted. I love him at that moment!

I think the new thread should have 'our girl' in the title as although CJ appreciation is what we all agree lust on, it is also the show as a whole, the story/acting/script/cinematography that we have been dissecting.

I agree, Bellini that it should have Our Girl in the title as I suppose that is one of the main ways it will be searched for and found. But at the same time our emphasis is on CJ and there was a bit of heat earlier on here when it was felt that all we did was lust after him. As well as discussion, we're allowed to do that too so maybe we should forewarn readers that there will be a fair amount of lusting that goes on??

How about Our Girl & Captain James Discussion Thread? That way both OG and CJ will appear in searches. We're not discounting general OG discussion but it's clear the emphasis is on CJ?
