The other thread will be full before the end of tomorrow's programme (and is running very slow anyway), so here's a shiny new one.

The next programme blurb on the bbc website says that failure is no longer an option, so I assume Greg really was serious about the 'or death' thing.

If any

cremolafoam · 14/05/2014 21:56

You know what? I'd rather eat at Angies caff than at Pings tasting menu

beanandspud · 14/05/2014 21:57

chefs Hats off to Angela. I'm not sure I would have behaved as graciously as she did.

coffeeinbed · 14/05/2014 21:57

I quite like instant mash.

I might have to NC after this.

Ellenora5 · 14/05/2014 21:57

Morgan · 14/05/2014 21:57

Go go Jack

florencedombey · 14/05/2014 21:57

If anyone ever makes a biopic of Ange's journey, Ange will be played by Olivia Colman.

CalamitouslyWrong · 14/05/2014 21:58

I prefer frozen mash to instant.

I've made a new thread for our forrin adventure. This one's near enough full.

OP posts:
Davros · 15/05/2014 08:51

Avoiding reading the rest if this thread or the new one as haven't watched last night's episode yet.
Anyway, The Fat Dyck was amazing. You couldn't call it lunch it a meal, it was a dining experience! Sounds pretentious but it is so original and interesting it isn't like anything else. The staff are fantastic, it's very relaxed and friendly but every little detail has been thought through. We also got taken to have a look at the kitchen which is pretty small but I think a lot is done in the prep and there is another kitchen for all that nearby. They are moving to Melbourne in Jan 2015 fir 6 months while the current place is refurbished and improved. That us all from your roving (full up) reporter!

squoosh · 15/05/2014 12:41

I thought Angela and Tom Kerridge would have made a nice couple, they had a touch of the Bill Sykes and Nancy about them. Except with less violent, death and prostitution.

HappyMummyOfOne · 15/05/2014 16:53

Love Jack, both him and the cooking Grin and want him to win. He was amazing in the kitchen last night compared to the others. Ping next and would have preferred Angela over Luke.

Hoppinggreen · 15/05/2014 16:57

Is it just me or does Angela remind anyone else of Eddie Izzard?
