how do you solve a problem like maria

does anyone know why emily, the gobby one, no longer is appearing in the final 10 line up for the live shows? she seems to have been replaced by siobhan, the gorgeous one who blew it by having a cold all week. I liked emily!

Get rid of Abi and Helena! They both suck.

I think Abi is too manly, and did you see how much make up she was wearing tonight?

Also, I've loved Siobhan ever since the beginning, and thought she was awesome tonight.

Abi's got that caveman brow, even thou it's been plucked into submission. There's something about her face that's really off-putting.

I like Leanne. And Siobhan. Helena's face is weird to watch when she sings. And Abi's a bloke. Aoife looks the most like I imagine Maria looks though.

Does anyone Not like Leanne? Why is she so popular, what am I missing? Her voice is ok, but she would be far better with a bit of training, and other then that she's made no impression on me.

but every time she actually has to perform on stage, siobhan goes sharp - she was amazing when 1-1 with ALW and i think she wd be great as a singer with a band - all she seems to want to do is stand/sit there and emit perfect notes, which are wonderful, but she can't move for toffee and goes sharp EVERY week. Connie connie connie!

i wd have been more interested if they'd got 10 professionals to audition publicly tbh. but it's good that simona may get a part in evita, that would be fantastic.

I thought that last week, acne. Siobhan is really 'pop'. But I think she'll win b/c she's pretty and young and sings well.

As far as professionals go, however, Connie FAR superior.

Siobhan was great singing with those kids. When she's relaxed she's got by far the prettiest voice.

leanne would be good in 'my fair lady'. I also think connie is the best but i think when it comes to the crunch siobhan will be favoured by the judges as the most 'contemporary' and connie too julie andrews.

Siobhan was fab tonight, best I've heard her sing. But my money's on Connie - I think she's realistically the only one who can carry a role like that in the West End.

You're right though about Connie, she seems to be the one who wants it the most, and the best all rounder.

do the public get the final vote on who it will be? i think siobhan is being revealed as a much more appealing personality than connie. She is much more modest and 'real' person whereas connie seams a real pro already and perhaps a bit false which i reckon will put The Public off.

yeh, the song choices were fab tonight. much better than all that pop crap they were singing at the start.

That's exactly what I said to dh, vitomum - in previous weeks the songs/genres of music have been totally irrelevant to 'musical' singing - this week you could hear their voices and it really helped.

My bet is Siobhan or Connie too. Have to admit I can't see why everyone likes Aoife though - doesn't anyone think she sounds too irish when she talks - so similar problem to Simona though not as pronounced obviously.
