does anyone know why emily, the gobby one, no longer is appearing in the final 10 line up for the live shows? she seems to have been replaced by siobhan, the gorgeous one who blew it by having a cold all week. I liked emily!

Yes - Connie's the one that's professional enough to hold it all together and make money, which, after all, seems to be the main criterion for Andrew Lord Weather (as DD calls him) and the other guy. And when Aoife was doing 'If they could see me now' I was imagining Connie doing it - she'd have been so much better at it.

actually I think ALW has come out of this rather well - in the first episode I thought he was going to be a bit of a knob but he seems to be very encouraging of all the girls - and positive in his criticisms. He's not out for the cheap laughs or groans like the other judges.

Only caught the very end, with Simona and Connie, but on the clips, yes Leanne looked pretty weak, but so did a lot of them (except, imo, Connie). But as I say, we didn't see all the performances all the way through.

Connie did "My baby just cares for me" which wasn't her best one TBH but she still did it really well, Simona did "I only wanna be with you", um....... can't remember any more

Did Abi do 'Hey big spender', in fishnets and really high thigh length boots? Think it was her. Leanne did '9 to 5' all dressed as a secretary, horrible hairstyle.

Abi was brilliant and I did not like her at all until tonight Aiofe was also really good.

You can so see the professional in Connie. No excuses, tears, tantrums, just does the job. Head and shoulders above the rest imo.

why are they so hard on simone. has everyone forgotten that Maria von trapp was Austrian therefore had an accent. They appear to be auditioning for julie abdres and rex harrison rather the the real people.
