how do you solve a problem like maria

does anyone know why emily, the gobby one, no longer is appearing in the final 10 line up for the live shows? she seems to have been replaced by siobhan, the gorgeous one who blew it by having a cold all week. I liked emily!

Have you noticed the director is not even around?

ALW started off saying she would do 8 shows per week and now it is 6.

It's been in several other papers, so I think it is common knowledge now. Just as well if you ask me!

tamum, I agree. I was very angry about the whole show. ALW doing a huge publicity stunt cashing in the on 'celebrity' culture.

no connie will not do that imo. she may start on 6 or something for the papers but will soon go down to two - it is common in the west end to have someone do that.

I'm not surprised Beety. It made good television, but I just can't see her being up to that kind of role, and the way they manipulated the program to make people vote for her was utterly shameless.

yes it is Molesworth as long as she is seen in a good light. Often the serious people will just see her a reality show celeb and she will get the celeb type stuff. If that is what she wants then brill.

Yep - double edged sword for Connie isn't it. She gets the foot in the door, but she will have to work doubly hard to be taken seriously.

Connie and david were on bbc breakfast, and she is down to do 6 shows a week and her undderstudy 2, although David said Connie is fighting him for the 6.

Have booked a matinee in Jan, just hope I get Connie!!

The other actress has left the show today, apparently because her role was being reduced from4 to 2 performances, and now obviously 0!

very foolish IMO for her to want to do all 8 shows.......the strain on her voice will be massive and she could end up doing serious damage to it if she's not careful launching into that much singing straight away
