Raahh · 07/12/2013 09:24

Well, not literally, obviously. No fighting in the ring, Voice-stylee (my money would be on Bouncy).

No- this week, our beloved acts are performing 2 songs- a Beyonce one, and an Elton on.

Here are the songs:

Luke Friend
Best Thing I Never Had
Something About The Way You Look Tonight

Nicholas McDonald
Halo
Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me

Rough Copy
Survivor
Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word

Sam Bailey
If I Were A Boy
Candle In The Wind

Whoever suggested 'Cnadle in the Wind' for ScrewLoose last week, wins the Internet. Congratulations. Flowers

Rumours abound that Duff Copy will leave. I hope not.

I'm really sad no-one is doing 'Circle of Life'. In costume Xmas Sad

I'm off to the school Christmas fair late. I'm going to need a lot of Wine.

It's on at 8.

Raahh · 08/12/2013 19:34

I hope it's the original, Sue- not the re-make with that annoying lispy kid from Mrs Doubtfire.

'Miracle' is my second favourite Christmas film- after 'White Christmas'. Love White Christmas. Xmas Grin. Although Elf is a very close contender.

Evening.
I'm watching Corrie. I hate films, Christmas or otherwise!

CalamitouslyWrong · 08/12/2013 19:47

I have to admit, I hate miracle on 34th street. Either version. Not as much as I hate it's a wonderful life though.

SuePurblybilt · 08/12/2013 19:48

It is the lispy re-make - Small is a big fan of Matilda and wanted to see the girl.
I much prefer the 40s version but I doubt she'd sit through it
It's dragging a bit tbh.

SuePurblybilt · 08/12/2013 19:48

It's a wonderful life is tedious, agree

Raahh · 08/12/2013 19:58

Ah, now I like 'It's a Wonderful life' - but that may be because, pre-dc I would watch it whilst putting up my tree and drinking mulled wine . So maybe i just think I like itXmas GrinWine

My mum and sister love it's a wonderful life. I've never enjoyed it in any way.

Here we go!

CalamitouslyWrong · 08/12/2013 20:01

It's a shame there are 3 whole places in the final really. Given how crap the contestants are.

IamInvisible · 08/12/2013 20:02

MIckey Bubbles! Wouldn't be Christmas without him!

Raahh · 08/12/2013 20:02

'ere we go,

So- Crood and The Duffers bottom 2, even though wee Jimmy was shoite?

Or Crood and Jimmy?

I think LooseScrew is safe, sadly, but would be happy to be proved wrong.

CalamitouslyWrong · 08/12/2013 20:02

I like the weird abducted by aliens effect they seem to use when filming the judges walking about backstage.

CalamitouslyWrong · 08/12/2013 20:04

I agree that loose screw will be safe. Alas.

I really hope anyone but loose screw wins. The guardian live blog points out that the result on her winning would inevitably be an album of musical covers in time for Mother's Day and then nothing.

Raahh · 08/12/2013 20:04

Mickey!Mickey!

ARENAS!!!

DD1 is confused . She is used to there being 4000 people at the areanGrin

Shitty has come as Cher in mermaids.

CalamitouslyWrong · 08/12/2013 20:04

I think Gary only owns one tie. Like a student.

SuePurblybilt · 08/12/2013 20:05

Is it Mickey tonight? Excellent.
I think Duffers out sadly. Possibly Kimbo.

IamInvisible · 08/12/2013 20:05

Gary was woken live in the tele this morning. It was very funny, he had his "I've just woken up voice" on!

CalamitouslyWrong · 08/12/2013 20:05

Haha at Cher in mermaids. Because it's true.

SuePurblybilt · 08/12/2013 20:06

Loose Screw has the stash tonight then?
snout in the mule bun. Learned that in Holloway, she did

CalamitouslyWrong · 08/12/2013 20:06

Does crood have full length trousers on?

JoyeuxNoelHeadbands · 08/12/2013 20:06

Crood out I reckon. Or the Duffers.

Raahh · 08/12/2013 20:06

Calamitous- she would 'go the way of the Cardle* - the 2nd/3rd/4th/250th acts would end up doing better.

The stylist have run out of natty aztec print for CroodSad

SuePurblybilt · 08/12/2013 20:06

What time, Iam? Grin
Is he not up at six jogging with meerkats then?

CalamitouslyWrong · 08/12/2013 20:07

Why have they dressed loose screw like she's popping down to Asda for some shopping? And dragging a reluctant wee barra with her at that.
