It's back, beginning on 15th September on WATCH. This year should be interesting as apparently they have made changes to the format that didn't' go down too well with viewers. Anyway I'm looking forward to spending time with George, Gary and Matt for the next few months.

So what's been happening? We are staying with family & I haven't seen it for days :(

I'm just up to Daniel leaving which was a surprise. It's not fair that one of the saved ones (pref Samira) wasn't in the last two for elimination. Poor Daniel had a stinker on the day. Samira's melt down in the desert was pathetic, she's lucky Kelty is so nice, I've really got to like him since thinking he was a plonker at first.

Is anyone else finding Christina really annoying, she cries at nearly every task Is she going for the sympathy vote do you think?
I'm not saying I wouldn't be the same though!

Christina is really annoying and I'm fed up of hearing about her kids - yes, we get it. You have kids. You love them. Next!

Samira is also getting on my nerves, but I think she'll go the distance to the final week. Oh, and I think Emma is annoying as well - that laugh!

I'm a hardcore AMC fan but this year's offering has been poor compared to the other series. Stop doing bloody team challenges! Where are the invention tests and mystery boxes - they sorted the wheat from the chaff.

How has Emma managed to bumble her way to finals week?

Ah feck that for a game of soldiers, disgusted with tonights result, if Samira or Christina win I will eat my hat. Samira is rude and obnoxious, Christina flavours all her dishes with tears. I have nothing to say about Emma, I don't understand why she is still there, she should have been flung out for her performance at Josie Bones. I want Lynton to win because Rishi is too full of himself.

I hope the next series goes back to what it used to be, remember the tasting challenges, they were brill, who would have thought spag bol had so many ingredients in it and for so many of them to not guess. Or the chopping challenge, the onions, the potato chipping, they were great fun.

The challenges where they had to name types of pasta etc were great. I can't remember an invention test this year at all.

Thanks for writing exactly what I was thinking.
I haven't enjoyed this years series, hate these theme weeks and there's too much emotional stuff, its boring.

I agree too! I don't like the themed weeks and the thing that really made MCA stand out was those brilliant " replicate the dish", "name the ingredients", mystery boxes etc and they've almost dropped them! I can't bear Christina going on about her "two beautiful kids", she showed a photo of them sobbing her heart out when Lynton talked about his disabled sister with dignity. Samira's always going on about her kids too we just saw the one where they cook for their families and couldn't believe that Rishi is married with kids too, he never harps on about them and, although Kelty has mentioned his kids he talks more about his wife. I'm assuming Kelty is no more, guessing from this thread, that is a shame. And what has happened to Matt Moran, he's never been mentioned?!!

The taste tests, identifying poultry etc by touch were amazing. Do you remember they made butter?

Hoping against hope they go back to the old formula for next year!

Well it's the last week, it wasn't great last night was it, I'm at the stage now where I'm just watching to see who wins but I'm not sure I care anymore because I presume it will be Samira or Christina.
