Masterchef Australia 2013

It's back, beginning on 15th September on WATCH. This year should be interesting as apparently they have made changes to the format that didn't' go down too well with viewers. Anyway I'm looking forward to spending time with George, Gary and Matt for the next few months.

Just up to the club sandwich round. Lynton was great with that goat, he seems so modest and kind.
Kelty has definitely improved, his cooking is better and I like him now.
Rishi was brilliant in the auction round, loved it, but wish Samira had gone and not Jules.

I don't like Samira, I don't want her to come back, I was very surprised to see Jules go, she had been so good up to that and just seemed to freeze and as for bidding for the yogurt, what was she thinking.

I like Lynton to, seems a very genuine person, wonder will Kelty been with a chance at the final, I think he has really improved, and Noleen has changed for the better, quite beginning to like her now.

Poor Liliana,her dish was amazing. So glad that Vern's partner didn't get through (can't remember his name),couldn't stand him. His dish was like vom.
Rishi is good but can't believe Samira made it back.
I think I'm a little over invested in this programme Blush

I wanted Jules back - I think she is a better cook than Samira. You are spot on about Vern's partner, Icelolly.

And we are not over-invested - we are just taking an intelligent interest. Grin

Ooops, haven't seen the last of the "re-entry" episodes, just watched the amazing frozen pudding one. So now I know that Samira gets back in which is very disappointing as I think she is rubbish, she's not even that good at her "own" food iykwim. I can only assume she got back in because of Rishi. I don't think she will last. I was really hoping Xavier would get back in, he seems so nice. Were Clarissa and Totem (I keep thinking he's Tonto!) not in it because they were out before the last 20?

Ohhh - I hadn't noticed that they weren't in the re-entry episodes! But Michael - aka angry-face-sweary-man - was the first one out, wasn't he? He was certainly eliminated before Clarissa, I am sure of that.

So maybe they drew lots - because the working in pairs thing meant they only needed 10 eliminated contestants to compete for re-entry.

Nicky and Vern are two horrible people, they were so sure they had it in the bag, I was thrilled he was sent home, I was hoping they would make an exception for Liliana, she really was the best and it's unfair, Samira won't last much longer, I said it before she can only cook her own type of food, Rishi is doing really well though he could be in the final, bloody masterclass tonight isn't it, I stopped watching those ages ago.

No-one seems to watch Masterclass. They should scrap them but maybe they're the one cheap episode they've got!

Just found this thread. I love this programme (so much better than UK version!) but agree re masterclasses, not for me.

I really liked Jules, sad she's out but I don't know who I want to win.

It just makes me so hungry!

I have seen it. Pleased with result. Vern can be pretty unlikeable but I do think he will get quite far. I have a problem,when does it end?

I have seen it. Considering they all managed to produce something creditable and finish it at all, it can't have been as difficult as it looked. Vern does seem to be quite skilled although I don't like him and I'm sick of hearing about "mum" (sorry!). DH hates Noelene
