It's back, beginning on 15th September on WATCH. This year should be interesting as apparently they have made changes to the format that didn't' go down too well with viewers. Anyway I'm looking forward to spending time with George, Gary and Matt for the next few months.

Thanks! Hadn't realised it was back. All excited about it now. I've managed to find last night's is on at one o'clock today so I'll be able to catch up.
My Aussie accent has vastly improved from watching previous series!

I do think that whoever made the boys' sour cream pastry ought to be in the elimination - I can't remember who it was, so I am not sure. But it was clear from the get-go that it was not, and was never going to be pastry, and if they had made a fresh batch there and then, they would have been able to make their tart. I'm glad they didn't though, since it landed Michael in elimination.

Did you see the bit where he said he didn't accept that his mistake was what blew it for his team the arrogant fucker??

Michael appears to be the most opinionated awkward contestant ever. I wonder if he is having a bad edit, or whether he really is that bad. Don't think much of Noeleene either!

They usually show a bit of how they got to the ones who are in the MC house but they didn't this time or I missed it. Michael is horrible and Kelty is an idiot, he seems to think he's Irish! I also don't like the really skinny, bossy woman who only cooks Italian food. Loving every minute though

Clarissa is getting exceedingly annoying too - she is next on my to-leave wishlist. I am a trained singer too, and there is no way I would do all that showy-off-y operatic singing. You can tell it is irritating the hell out of the other contestants too - I wonder if anyone will tell her?

I also find the Aussie woo-hoo shorty cheerleader really irritating. Brit Lucy looks a bit like a fish out of water when they get going

I am annoyed. Usually they start with good cooks. Those who wouldn't dream of serving raw chicken for example. This lot aren't good. They're not even enthusiastic. Not happy.

Having said that I did enjoy watching them do their 12 min rotation challenge.

Especially what's her face and her detailed instructions written in mustard on the counter top. Which might have been useful if she had bothered to tell the next person what the mustard hieroglyphs were all about, so they could pass the info on.

I guess that the main big unpopular change to the format was to ditch the 'top 50" that they used to do. Therefore they've ended up with some rubbish people.

Stick with it! I was appalled at the low standard at first, but the final few end up doing okay.
