Anyone watch tonights, not as good as last week, how come Ade Edmonson can't cook, I reckon he is holding out till Friday and will pull out all the stops then, John was a bit of a know it all, Denise might know what she is doing if she has more time, are we going to get bored with it, it's not very exciting.

It was awful last night. Ade playing the 'I don't know anything' card. Denise improved a bit but she looked awful irrelevant.

I think the fella from 'Cold Feet' might be a dark horse.

Denise was Kens bit on the side in corry. She looked like she'd been living in a skip since.

That spicy chicken meatball dish with pasta was just WRONG! I kept saying it was student food and then they turned up at Kingston "university" (poly in my day), they should have saved it for the students.

Ha! I was right. He came second on Hells Kitchen in 2009.

Ye he did TSSDNCOP, that's why it was so unbelievable when he seemed to be doing badly, I think it was right John went tonight, he was very cocky and thought he would sail through, I'm glad Denise went through she did a lot better, but yes I agree about her appearance, she needs to sort out her hair.

Davros I know it looked terrible.

I do find the palate test round really puzzling, John and Greg spend most of the series telling the contestants to keep things simple and not to confuse different tastes and then he goes on to produce dishes which contain everything in his kitchen cupboard.

Also glad John went he was really irritating me.

I don't know who Denise Black is but a quick google reveals she is going grey for a part in Emmerdale, which I have also never seen.

I went to the Anniversary Games the other weekend and wondered why Philips Odowu wasn't competing. I don't understand how a supposed elite athlete can find the time to do this programme.

Denise had one of Ken Barlow's children - a surviving twin.

I'm not 100% sure but I thought he'd retired due to injury.

It's no surprise that Ade went through, if you haven't learnt anything from Marco Pierre White then you need to stay out of the kitchen, I'm glad Denise went through. Who was the other lady with Christine and Phil, don't know her at all.

Ive been away for a few days, was no one watching this week, I had it recorded and caught up on it all tonight, Shane was good, he knows what he is doing, was very surprised with Brian, I had him written off early on, hated Shappi she was trying to turn it all into a joke, polenta/placenta, haha as if we didn't see the smirk when you were saying it, I thought it was fair that Shane and Brian went through to the semi finals, I can't wait until Janet comes back (fireworks)

I am still watching. Been away for a week but caught up now.

I didn't like Shappi either. I had no idea who she was until the 'placenta' remark then I realised she must be a comedian (comedienne?).

Brian improved a lot and Shane was good. I find his tattoos very distracting though

The only one I recognise in next weeks is Les Denis.

I havent watched Fridays episode yet but I am.very pleased to read that Shappi has gone. Ive seen her do the odd bit of stabd up and it was OK but she was god awful on Masterchef.

Shane's fish stew looked so fantastic. I really hope the production team gobbled it up, all that lovely seafood. I think he has potential.
I liked Brian's food but he is going to flounder in any mass catering challenges coming up, I think.

Shapi should never have got through to Friday's round. She was a disaster in most of the earlier tasks, far worse than Miranda. Glad she went last night.
