Jo Wood's hair is driving me mad! I am surprised she was allowed to cook with it all hanging down like that!
JSP's ex husband (no 2 or 3) is buried next to my Jack in the churchyard!

Jo Woods made me feel so cross & stabby.

Any grown woman who wears pigtails deserves to be strangled by them.

I suspect Janet will stay for a long time as she makes for such good TV.

Sparklingbrook, I am always amazed at how the place is spotless when their food is tasted and always shout at the telly, it must be cold. It annoys me in every masterchef show, even Australia masterchef and that's my favourite. I'm glad Heidi went, if she had have gone through it would have confirmed what I said up thread about the pretty girls and John and Gregg

That raddled Jo woman was quite a pathetic creature. Kept going on about being 'on tour' like she was in a band herself and was still trying to live the life. I simultaneously felt pity and an urge to stab. Repeatedly.

Or buy her a bar of soap.

5 mins in and Jo has already irritated me. Hopefully she's out tonight.

She should be out after not cooking anything today.

I would be a brilliant cook if all I had to do was shave vegetables, the right decision was made, her silliness was awful, "when I cook for my kids blah blah blah" her kids are adults for goodness sake.

Next week looks interesting, another one who has already been on a cooking show, Ade Edmondson, if he doesn't do well he may forget about cooking altogether

is it me or anyone else think andi peters on judging panel today was totally arrogant and unreasonable about every single candidates food? he had a snooty look about him too like he was a connoisseur just because he had been on MasterChef previously . I don't know why they bother inviting winners back they're not experts after all.

There was clearly tension between Janet and Christine. I wonder if Lisa and John had discussed the contestants before she ate their food.

Yes Andi Peters was being a bit of an arse, not sure why, I didn't see his series so not sure if he was any good.

Quite enjoyed this week, it's such an easy watch. Highlights for me was Janet not being used to pleasing men and Katy cooking the Mirrin salmon which I'm pretty sure was the same recipe I use from Nigella Express poshed up a bit.

He came across as a complete twat, I don't remember his series either, must have been quite a forgettable one.

Yes I agree, Andi Peters was up himself. Janet SP makes me laugh, glad Jo Wood has gone - isn't she a bit old to be playing a rock chick?

I thought Andi Peters was up his own arse.......being in a cookery show does not make you a credible food critic. I'm looking forward to next week, this and Australian Masterchef are my fave tv shows.

Oh hated Jo-I'm with the band-wood. How sad t be utterly and completely defined by your ex and his touring.

And I can't stand Greg. Just cos you lost your fat gut doesn't mean you are now gods gifts to women. Also, why are they regurgitating all the naff slebs we've seen on shows like Hell's Kitchen and dance for comic relief. It's so boring. JSP is known to be a foodie and she was on ramsays cooking show. And now ade.

Greg is awful, but it wasn't loosing his fat gut that made him think he's goods gift. I read an interview with him years ago where he was bragging about how his ability to bed 21 year olds had improved due to being on tv, yuk.

I must say I quite sympathise with Janet S-P about presentation. There seems to be so much emphasis on the importance of making the plate look "pretty" to the point when it just looks stupid - particularly when it ends up as three pretty minuscule portions of pud evenly spread out along an oblong plate. I'd rather have a decent portion of something that tastes good without worrying endlessly about how it looks.

Everytime I log in now I see Greggs face at the top of the page....it's giving me the creeps.
