Anyone watching the first episode of the second series tonight?

I love this programme. It's fascinating,if often heartbreaking. You see the best and the worst of people.

I hope the nurse is still in it.I can't remember her name, but she's fantastic, and was the main nurse featured in the first series.

Was it an Angry Birds hat?

Girl in hat is great (I'm watching with a delay). Love the way she refused to use the disabled loo. :)

JustFabulous · 20/06/2012 21:35

At that point I thought she was a boy Blush.

Pooka · 20/06/2012 21:36

Yes - failed resus so hard to see. I find myself holding my breath and just willing it to work. :(

I hope Aaron's situation isn't as bad as it seems It doesn't sound good.

Poor Danielle too. She looks awful.

Ouch

WithACherryOnTop · 20/06/2012 22:00

Two very lucky people, though Danielle had to go through rather a lot to get there. Her legs looked so painful after her surgery.

delllie · 20/06/2012 22:03

what did cause danielles legs to be like that? she said she had googled it but didn't say what it was?

Sparklingbrook · 20/06/2012 22:03

What actually happened to Danielle? Was it because of the spin class?

carben · 20/06/2012 22:14

I want to know what was wrong with Danielle too. Been googling but not found anything. Can't believe it was due to an exercise class. Talk about only getting half the story !

Sparklingbrook · 20/06/2012 22:17

Well was it something to do with kidneys and muscles. Muscular Dystrophy was mentioned wasn't it? I would love to know more. It looked really frightening. The patient in the next door cubicle passing away too. Sad

delllie · 20/06/2012 22:32

could have been compartment syndrome - seems to fit the symptoms she had

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 20/06/2012 22:33

She had rhabdomyalysis which can lead to compartment syndrome

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 20/06/2012 22:34

Sorry, rhabdomyOlysis

Sparklingbrook · 20/06/2012 22:35

That looks terrifying. The poor girl.

delllie · 20/06/2012 22:38

so it looks like the spinning class could have been the cause then - good excuse not to take that up then :o

Sparklingbrook · 21/06/2012 13:59

yes, I will not be doing any exercise at all just in case delllie. I can't stop thinking about it.

It's focusing on the elderly tonight.

HaveALittleFaith · 27/06/2012 22:00

I'm watching. What kind of person hits a 93 year old and leaves them for dead?! Oh his poor niece.

Clawdy · 28/06/2012 20:25

A sad one tonight. Was hoping they'd get whoever knocked him down...what a sad way to end a long life,in shock and pain.
