Anyone watching the first episode of the second series tonight?

I love this programme. It's fascinating,if often heartbreaking. You see the best and the worst of people.

I hope the nurse is still in it.I can't remember her name, but she's fantastic, and was the main nurse featured in the first series.

Blimey, I cried before the show even started - the clip of a dad saying to his daughter "Do you know what happens when things are bad? Daddy's here." Sad (In my defence have just had my first DC and so now any 'daddy' comments make me think about my DP and well up!!)

hippoCritt · 17/05/2012 22:06

I didn't know it was on again feel compelled to watch it

hiviolet · 21/05/2012 21:03

This programme is television at its best. I absolutely love it.

What a heartstring-tugger though. I was convinced Sarah was going to be dead and Kevin be in a "persistent vegetative state". So incredible that they both pulled through.

Anyone watching tonight?

I love that " daddy is here" best line ever.

I missed the first five minutes. Has it shown any patients other than the girl who was injured while horse riding?

Thanks for directing me here whichever kind soul that did (too lazy to re-open other thread!)

I will be popping in mostly when I am weeping too hard to see.

Poor kid. That sounds so uncomfortable. It doesn't seem to affect his dance moves though.
