Anyone watching or am I all alone?

Was posting on the other thread but wondered if people might have been put off by the title thinking it was only for speculation.

I love this series, and mostly loved the last episode. However.

Why did Carrie still have a fully-functioning CIA phone when she'd been sacked?

Why did Abu Nazir change his mind about vengeance for the death of his beautiful, beloved son and the other 81 children? Seriously? 'Ach, forget an eye for an eye; let's just change the VP's opinions instead'?

And can anyone help me find a brown-skinned character who's a goodie?!! Walker: evil. David: evil. Walker's wife - well, good but damn sure screwed things up big time! Maybe Mira? Though she was only on the sidelines. There are so few brown faces in the show; surely they can't all be bad!

And Claire Danes, Damian Lewis and Mandy Patinkin are so bloody brilliant. SO bloody brilliant. Grin

I was abit let down by the last one, aslo. What happened to the bloody vest? Who was the mole and, infact, was there ever one?

I enjoyed it but Im not so excited for the second series and, knowing DL is in it took the edge of the final really.

If it was all a test by Nazir-who somehow knows that Brody will get elected-good job Brody didn´t manage to repair the vestWink

WASNT Carrie Suspended by CIA, rather than sacked?

diddl · 10/05/2012 09:09

Yes I think she was -so would hand in ID & gun(?)-& surely that was a "personal" phone that she dropped at the house anyway?

If it was a works phone, why would she have Brody´s "personal" handy number on it?

MayaAngelCool · 10/05/2012 10:38

She told Dana that the phone would take her straight to the Security Services. Seems perfectly reasonable to me that it was a work phone.

Also Dana would have had to find the number herself, because by the time she called Brody, Carrie had been arrested. Seems unlikely...well, if you look hard enough there are always plot holes. At least this show was a good romp!

diddl · 10/05/2012 10:56

Oh yes-I was thinking that Brody answered the callBlush

MayaAngelCool · 10/05/2012 11:05

No worries Grin

And I forgot to say how brilliant the girl who plays Dana was.
