Anyone watching or am I all alone?

Was posting on the other thread but wondered if people might have been put off by the title thinking it was only for speculation.

just have to post here. it was brilliant. Who cares who was the mole after last night's tense episode. brody and carrie were both fantastic. and she cried when he told her to leave him alone Sad and and and the daughter called him but also called the police due to the crazy lady, which was good, if she hadnt called tne police just did as carrie told her it would have been too far fetched.

diddl · 07/05/2012 13:55

And where is Brody´s confession, & has the daughter now got Carrie´s phone?

slartybartfast · 07/05/2012 13:56

well he was doing it for the children that were killed with no coverage. but his own daughter stopped him in the end.
and walker shot the woman purposefully so they would end up in the bunker.

diddl · 07/05/2012 14:04

"and walker shot the woman purposefully so they would end up in the bunker."

Yes-what I meant was how did they know that Brody would run for congress(?) hence be invited by the VP, hence be in a position to be in the bunker at all iyswim.

cybbo · 07/05/2012 14:06

The mole in the Gov/CIA is feeding Abu Nazir the information

noddyholder · 07/05/2012 14:07

Walker missed on purpose so that all the main players would be in the bunker.I agree it was a loyalty test. The daughter is very good and I think she will be pivotal in the next series. She has the phone. Claire danes was flawless

garlicbutty · 07/05/2012 14:17

Nazir TOLD Brody he was going to be invited to run, and told him to make sure he got his wife to agree. It was all planned from way, way back.

I want to know if the sister will think to tell Saul what Carrie said - and where is the bomb vest? Think Dana will find it??

I assumed Walker took the confession away, but if so it'll still be on his body ...

Gah! How long have we got to wait for Series 2?

cybbo · 07/05/2012 14:28

Did Brody know what part Walker was playing in the asassination ? He seemed to be standing in the way quite a lot of the time Shock

noddyholder · 07/05/2012 14:30

I wondered about that cybbo. I then thought maybe he was putting himself in the line of fire so that he didn't have to detonate the vest and walker would be responsible for it all

cybbo · 07/05/2012 14:32

I think he was still 100% committed until he spoke to his daughter

I still find it weird he's prepared to make his own children lose their father because of the drone attack live's lost

noddyholder · 07/05/2012 14:36

But he has been away from his children so long that teh connection is weak.

LeBOF · 07/05/2012 14:40

I think it's interesting that Brodie was pulled back by love for his daughter, and I'm not sure if he's just thinking on the hoof by suggesting he I fluency policy, to cover up that he chickened out. Maybe he has lost his conviction in the whole mission? Will he go on to try to back out of the deal but be held to ransom by the confession on the memory stick? It is probably in the hands of Nazir now...

LeBOF · 07/05/2012 14:41

*influence

noddyholder · 07/05/2012 14:42

I am thinking season 2 he may become full on presidential egomaniac which will make me so confused that I may have to opt out Grin

garlicbutty · 07/05/2012 14:51

I was convinced Walker would shoot Brody! I reckon those devious film-makers put him in Walker's sights on purpose, to make me suspect Walker of double (triple?) dealing Grin

So is Brody now going to be a double/triple agent Congressman?

Hassled · 07/05/2012 14:58

How did Brodie know where to find Walker? He didn't know W was alive a couple weeks ago - who was giving him instructions?

garlicbutty · 07/05/2012 15:11

I wish they'd shown that, Hassled. It could have been Nazir or the guy who made the bomb vest, though. Or whoever told him where to pick the vest up!

difficultpickle · 07/05/2012 15:13

Nazir is giving him instructions.

OP posts:
slartybartfast · 07/05/2012 15:15

carie told him walker was alive, in fact, it was on the news trhat walker was alive.

diddl · 07/05/2012 15:16

"Nazir TOLD Brody he was going to be invited to run,"

Oh, I don´t remember that.

So the whole thing is Nazir?

So when will Brody realise that he´s just a pawn & will be killed when no longer useful-like Walker & Elizabeth Gaines?

Is Saul the mole-or Carrie??!!

Who knew about the meeting with the guy who was blown up when they tried to contact Walker?

diddl · 07/05/2012 15:17

"How did Brodie know where to find Walker?"

Nazir, I think-surely the plan was always to kill Walker then as he was no longer useful?

slartybartfast · 07/05/2012 15:25

yeah that mystery hasnt been resolved.
david eestes?
the chauffeur,
walker being paranoid

garlicbutty · 07/05/2012 15:33

I keep suspecting Saul's the mole. Trouble is, I like him more than David so I want David to be the baddie.

garlicbutty · 07/05/2012 15:34

... oh, but Saul wouldn't have told David about Carrie's theory if he was the bad guy, would he? Phew Grin

difficultpickle · 07/05/2012 15:35

Nazir would have known about that meeting. I think the mole is important in all this and it has to be someone who knew about the meeting with the Saudi diplomat.
