I'm wondering how this is all going to pan out for Eileen. All this Norris witnessing physical stuff seems like a big neon sign that it's not going to go well.

Does tonight's episode mean that the loan shark storyline is going to run and run? GO TO THE POLICE YOU FOOLS!

I thought Eileen was brilliant tonight, but Tommy really let me down (never mind Tina) - why the devil didn't he try and keep the money from Terry.

After a slow burn at the beginning of the week, tonight's episodes were good.

Eileen can't go to jail though. Or maybe she could since everyone else in Corrie does.

Funnily enough, re Carl, when he was in Taggart, I would have. But his awful accent and dreadful hammy lines in Corrie leave me cold. Is he still in Taggart does anyone know?

The Eileen thing was in last weekends papers, although they didn't say it was electrocution. I am going to have to be careful on this thread because I do read the spoilers.

WHY oh why didnt Tommy keep the 9k just incase the Loan Shark came to him? It seems utter madness for him to allow his dad to walk away with it.

Eileen was briiliant Friday's episode. But I am sooooo annoyed about the Paul reaction. I know his wife died etc, BUT how dare he go off on one with Eileen who (1) is not a trained carer and (2) is his bloody bit on the side. He left her in a situation which caused this.

I agree Gnocchi about 'pauls reaction', Eileen has done all the hard work for him whilst he has been out a work.
Shes been an unpaid carer and been hit twice by Lesley.
Its seems to me now his wife has died he has dumped Elieen as he doesn't need a carer anymore
She left her for just minutes which she shouldnt have done but she isnt experienced so shouldnt be expected to know that leaving her would end in tragedy

Yes, Paul has expected far too much of Eileen, who has been overwhelmingly generous towards Lesley, he should have taken Lesley back to the home. Odd that neither he or Lesley seemed to have any family at all. He didn't seem to have a clue what he was about really, the divorce to marry Eileen was a step too far.

The show is TERRIBLE at the moment.

Hating the Eileen/Paul/Lesley story.

Hating the Terry/Tommy/Loan shark story

Hating the Sunita/Carl story.

Bored of the David/Kylie thing.

Yes, it's all a load a great big shite. And OP is spot on about the horrible soft porn dialogue being spouted by Sunita and Carl.

Additional note to producers: stop it now.

What storylines would you like to see? I want Noris to find love. And Emily. Maybe with each other, I'm not decided.

I also would like Julie and Brian to buy a house, rather than living above the butchers or whereever they are.

I would like (or not like as it is) Kirsty to ramp up the violence towards Tyrone so that they split and he gets custody (due to her violence).

I wish Brian was more likeable. Maybe they could adopt Kevin's baby. Agree about Kirsty. More aggression and then OUT! I like Norris and whatsherface who's always arguing with him, more storylines from them. I like Gail and Eileen's slanging matches and want Rita to have more feisty ding-dongs with Norris. Dennis is such a wet fish, maybe he could work away from home and not be in it much.

So why did Tommy give the money to Terry? Puzzling - thught he was going to take it and give it himself to the loan shark. Tho' also had an idea that Terry and the loan shark were in on it together to con the money out of Tommy. So now they've given Ty's moeny to Terry and are still in sh*t with the loan shark?

Puzzling about Kirsty and the job, surely if she is suspended she is still being paid by the plice pending any disciplinary action?

It's the inconsistency that gets me. One minute there's some great stuff going on (Tyrone and Kirsty, Julie and Brian) the next it's all gone totally unbelievable again. Definitely more bad than good lately.
