I remember in th'olden days when there were no spoilers. The nation had no idea whether Deidre would choose to stay with Ken or do a runner with Mike Baldwin until it was actually broadcast. And we didn't know who shot JR.

So for those of us with no life who enjoy Corrie without spoilers, a new thread discuss our beloved soap with all its flaws

Do you think she's making it up?

I can't make out what's going on with Gloria and Lewis.

And what's just happened with Ryan and the girl (Sophie?)? Eeek.

I think Gloria is making it up but not sure what she's up to, apart from stealing Lewis. Where is Stella? Gloria seems to be running the pub full time.

How on earth are they all affording to eat out so often at Mary's theme nights?

My heart is sinking at the thought of the surrogacy storyline starting up again.

And I'm dreading this surrogacy story. Although I saw a headline on one if those TV mags that said something like 'Tina baby drama'. What's that all about? Could Tina discover she's ready pregnant when she goes to get Izzie/Gary's embryo inserted?

Loved Roy coming back and bursting Mary's restaurant bubble. It was all getting a bit ridiculous, but did quite like Beth's outfits for French and Greek night! I'm starting to like her now.

Yawn also at Maria 'n' Marcus. I've always found Maria a meh character, never really warmed to her.

I'm glad Steve and Michelle are back together. Ryan is dreadful. Wish he'd scarper to London or wherever the youngsters on Corrie go nowadays when they're written out.

Would like a Tyrone/Kirsty update.

And would love an Audrey/Gloria catfight. Lewis looked slightly ashamed when he was sitting on the sofa with Audrey after his night out with Gloria. I hope he's not going to amend his ways, I couldn't bear him to turn out nice!

Just read that the actress who plays Rosie is rumoured to be going into the I'm A Celeb jungle, maybe we could campaign to send Ryan too.

I don't watch IACGMOOH but if that Rosie Webster (Helen something) is in it, the news will be full of her moronic open -mouthed pouty face.

I think Gloria is trying to tempt him into it for some reason- she's pretending to be ill and pretending to be rich to get his interest.

I hate how Izzy does "emotional" acting by just talking through gritted teeth!!

Tommy's really annoyed me now by putting Tina in an impossible position. And how are they going to come back from this? Love the shenanigans with Gloria. Ken is setting himself up, hope Deirdre kicks him out.

I know, effectively kidnapping her and giving such a last minute ultimatum was really poor, especially as she is doing it to pay off his debts.

By the look on Gail's face I think it may be a setup - trapping Lewis to show Audrey what a bad lot he is.

Is it just me or did anyone else think that in light of the current sex abuse scandals it is not in very good taste to have Wendy making false allegations of sexual harrassment about Ken to Brian.

I wish someone would shake Deidre and get her to do something else apart from sitting at the table moaning. She is so dull and boring and that stupid Tracey chipping in every five minutes. can't say I blame Ken for wanting to get out of the house and do something.

Wendy is a scheming cow though.

Same applies to Gail. Doesn't seem to have any life of her own, just trying to run other peoples.
